My favorite movies that have music in them are "Footloose" and also "Dirty Dancing". These movies were both made in the 80s. I also liked "Girls Just Want To Have Fun". What are some of your favorite movies that have music in them?

When I listen to the songs from "Saturday Night Fever" it takes me right back to the 70's, oh the wonderful memories...I really miss that era so much.

oh yeah That is a lot of good movies with music. I liked St. Elmo's Fire a lot myself. All of those cute men in that movie. Rob Low, Emlo Estevse,Andrew McCarthy, I forget who all else. I loved seeing that movie because of these guys in it. Mannequien was really good with Andrew McCarthy and of course Dirty Dancing. The Time of My Life was a big song when that movie came out. I had a crush on Patrick Swazye after watching that movie and I had to have that music album for me birthday or begged for it when I was turning 15.

My three favorite movies with music in them are all starring the same person. The BodyGuard, The Preacher's Wife, and Waiting To Exale. All starring Whitney Houston and a soundtrack of some of the most beautiful music I have ever heard.

All three of these movies are really good. Espically " The Preacher's Wife" and "Waiting to Exile'. I have heard that Whitney Houston is going to start singing again. I am not sure if it is true or not though. I liked a lot of her songs when she did sing and I still like them. Espically her remake of "I will always love you" and I liked " I wanna dance with somebody".

I have seen so many movies, which are having music in them, that it is very difficult to remember each and every one of them. But as you mentioned, I liked the music of Dirty dancing and Girls just want to have fun also. More recently, I liked the music of Titanic and few other movies. Now a days, I think, more movies are having an element of music in them then earlier.

I cant wait to share my answer with you! My favorite is GREASE starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton John. I remember when I first saw the movie, I fell in love instantly. I had to become a Pink Lady if it killed me. For Christmas that year I asked for a pink satin jacket and most importantly The Grease Record. Santa brought me the album. The cover opened to show several different pictures of scenes from the movie. That was the best year ever. I also got my roller skates that looked like sneakers. I was on fire!LOL thanks dl

My I got into Dirty Dancing and had to have the almum so i got it for me birthday that year after I saw the video. i had a crush on Patrik Swayze.
