I remembered when my first pet dog, named Missy, died...It was like I lost somebody very special to me. I was in the office when I received an SMS from my mom saying Missy was gone. I was really depressed and I cried. I was newly hired in the company and a bit shy to show my feelings. But I could not help it, but to shed lots of tears. . It was like a week-long of mourning til my friend gave me a new pet dog. Guys, do you find me weird for acting this way? Do you also share same sentiments with me? When you lost a certain pet, how do u usually react?

When I lost the cat I had had since I was a kid, I felt the same way as you. When I adopted a new cat I felt a bit better, but I still missed him.

Having pets is like having friends or a family of your own. Wow, there are lots of pet lovers here. I am very glad to know that. Having pets makes you feel that you are not alone because you can also play with them. It's really great to have them because we are able to share love and utmost care to them. We also feel that they love us. They also tend to defend or protect us. When, I get home my dog always rushed to me, waggling his tail. I can see that he is very happy to see me again. I'm sure he misses me when I'm out.
