There are so many to choose from. Yahoo, AIM, MSN, Skype and many more. which one do you prefer to use? Why do you Prefer it? and do you use more than one. I use Paltalk, it's a very nice program. You can also access your other IM programs with paltalk! I prefer to use it because of the online game i play. It is what most of the game players use to communicate with each other. I will use aim sometimes to talk to family.

I have AIM, MSN and Yahoo and i used to have Skype but that thing messed up my computer so i had to take it off.. I rarely ever use MSN or yahoo but I am always on AIM though.. AIM is my favorite one to use too. I only use MSN when i use my web-cam but that is rare too lol but i prefer AIM. it's smaller and doesn't take up as much room. i like that i can group my boxes and make some space... and i have never heard of Pattalk... but it sounds cool.

I use AIM the most, and also yahoo for some friends. I rarely chat as much though as I used to. At one time I practically lived on the computer. Ate my meals at my desk and spent all of my time here, with internet friends. Eventually that got boring and I realized I was missing out on the real world. These days I spend at the most maybe 2 hours chatting. And most of the time rely on email instead of IMs.

I use the Yahoo! Instant Messaging service to chat with my friends. I have not used other services but think that it is the most useful around. I usually conference chat with all my friends and it is fun. We talk over headphones, which eliminates the need for Skype, and say hi to each other over a webcam, which again eliminates the need of Skype. We share our photos and send important and unimportant files to each other. I don't think other services like gTalk or Windows Live Messenger have this feature. Moreover, there are chat rooms to find new and interesting people and online games to play. Chatting with emoticons and Audibles in regional language adds to the charm. Then there are IMVironment and online games to play with friends. Though I lose most of the time, I love it. It is a nice way to keep connected. Love Yahoo! Cheers! AJ Rox.

I usually use Yahoo Messenger and Skype. I used to use MSN but all of my contacts transferred to Yahoo so I decided to move to Yahoo as well. I like using Yahoo because it's pretty simple and easy to use. I only use Skype for work purposes and for calling my friends and family members who are abroad.

I think MSN and Yahoo instant messengers are the best. I use Msn mostly, But for video and voice conferencing Yahoo messenger is good. It gives a very clear sound quality and also its video conferencing has a very good quality. Also sending files is very easy and fast in yahoo, Yahoo messenger's features are better than MSN so comparing both of them is better. At times msn also gives very good sound quality but its rare. Actually On yahoo messenger there are not much people I know. So eventually i have to use MSN.

the most I'm using are MSN, Skype and Yahoo! I guess Yahoo! is more popular in America..and that's why we're seeing a lot of msn here! I've already seen it's different in every single country! But most of europe is using MSN, america yahoo!, and well Skype..I really don't know! I think it's used everywhere in the world...but if I had to choose one of these IMS..then I'd choose MSN because i'm used to it.

I'm so sorry for coming in so late. In this regard, I'm pretty old fashioned and don't use any IM and use mobile phone instead.

I use Yahoo, MSN, GMAIL and Lotus Notes (at work). MSN is the most fun (because of the winks). Yahoo has reliability problems (for me anyway). And I don't use the GMAIL one much at all because there's only one other person I know who's on it!

i use pidgin. but sometimes i also use msn or yahoo messenger. because pidgin use tunneling that sometimes get blocked by proxy server.. pidgin is light, and not bandwidth consuming.. too bad pidgin cannot handle web cam, so if i want too use webcam, i have to switch to other messenger, like msn or ym.. =)
