Yes it's annoying when it rings any time, I was very late to get a cell phone, I refused to use it for too long but finally had to get one as everyone else, some people can not make their calls short, they can't chose the right time and they get offended if you tell them you will call later or something :( I have ADSL but still I hate the interruption when the phone rings at the most inappropriate times it always seems.. Anyway, when I sleep; I unhook the phone and shutoff the cell phone.

Well I used to but not anymore. I feel it is a big waste of time. Sometimes when I am drinking or outside smoking I will still do it as I have nothing better to do.

I only enjoy talking on the phone when I have nothing to busy with. It's very annoying when someone calls me up when I am busy doing something. When the phone is ringing,no matter how I have to pick up the phone even though I am extremely busy there. I don't like talking on a hand phone, because after a short while,I can feel the heat on the cell phone,it makes me feel really uncomfortable.

I own a cell phone so a regular phone doesn't count for me. My internet connection is cable so it's all good. But if I was using a regular phone and I use a dial up for my connection to the internet and people would knock me off of it, of course I would get very annoyed. That's why I don't like dial ups because if someone calls you, you get knocked off. Having a separate phone line would work better for you if you get two phone lines where one is for internet and the other is used for the phone. That would make it easier but if you can't afford to get two of them for the time being, I guess having to suffer with it now would just have to do. It's annoying but on a money budget now makes sense.

Your welcome. I hope that your phone and internet connection problem will work out real soon. Thanks for replying back to me but beside this discussion that you did, was there another one that wss really popular which you didn't expect? I only had one but that one stopped having people commenting on it. It was about relationhip.

i don't really like talking on the phone... in fact, i seldom do it... i prefer to talk face to face with the person... especially if it is an important matter... i don't like chatting and sms as well as to me it is so not personalised at all... i won't do it if i can help it... talking face to face is the best thing for me... take care and have a nice day...

I don't often talk on the phone because I think sometimes it really wastes the time. I prefer to have a short chat on phone only. I don't have a hobby to chat on phone for a very long time. I love China

I don't like talking on the phone so much. I hate it when people put me on hold and it takes forever juts to talk to the person I want to talk to. I don't like the feeling when the phone starts becoming uncomfortable in my ear. So I try to keep my calls as short as possible. :) I like text messaging though. :D It's the best!

Hi, You should use your phone the way you want. For example, keep it on silent mode when you enter into a work that needs concentration. Keep it on vibrate when you are driving becasue you might miss the ringtone that alerts an incoming phone and keep it on general profile mode when you are at home and not so busy. Make sure that you use the phone that phone doesnt use you. All the best prashant@friendstime.com

I do not really like talking on the phone. I use my phone for some short conversations only for example asking about appointments, some inquiries, or informing someone about my arrival, etc... Basically they are short calls that lasted less than 3 minutes or so... Most of the time I just use the short messaging services to let people know or to get some information about something... If I want a conversation or talk to somebody, I would prefer to do that face to face and there is more fun to do that compared to talking over the phone. Even though now that we already have video calling facilities, I would still prefer the good old ways where we sit together and have some good chats!

I have no problem talking on the phone being a 22 yr old stay at home single mom its sometimes my life line to the outside world. I get so caught up on whats goin on inside the house that i forget that theres a whole world out there that is still going and that has new trails and tribulations everyday. Plus I do run an avon business from my home as a part time job and most of those orders are made either online or on the telephone. My mom says that i concatantly have the phone to my ear or im sending a text message on my cell. But hey theres more out there then what goes on in my house and i want to hear about it especially since the only conversation i really get is with a 15 month old little boy.

I love talking to the phone when I feel like doing it. What is bothersome with me is when am doing something and it keeps on ringing. But generally, I love talking on the phone with families and friends and most often, they're lengthy conversations. :)

heaven 11 - A ringing phone scares me when I'm concentrating and not expecting the phone to ring. I always take the call, but I lose track of everything I was doing before the phone rang. As much as I enjoy talking to friends and family, I spend the entire time pacing around the house. I have no idea why.

I hate talking on the phone. I get so annoyed by people all the time. Besides the only people that call me are bill collectors. They are the worst. I wish I had money then they would stop calling me. They never understand when I have money they will get some until then they have to be patient.
