ADOBO!!!!!!!!!!!! (food)

WHO HERE LIKES ADOBO??? For those people who do not know what adabo is... It's a Filipino cuisine that consist of either chicken or pork or sometimes chicken AND pork with soy sauce, black pepper, vinegar and garlic. It's mixed in a pot/pan and placed over heat. They allow it to simmer til the sauce is a bit thick. There are a lot of versions of this dish. But adobo is always adobo. It' one of the most well-known and loved dish from the Philippines. Reminds me of the feeling of being home. One good comfort food for me. =)

I LIKE! especially when it has hard boiled eggs! i love chicken adobo but not pork adobo for health reasons :) hehehe ADOBO RULES!

Here's something interesting... I use a Spanish seasoning called Adobo. it's an all purpose spice. Funny how two totally different things have the same name right?

i think they have some similar seasoning/ingredients or that it gives the same flavor. We also have that adobo seasoning here. Thanks!

Isshie, I love ADOBO as well. I worked with a Filipino lady and she showed me and a couple of friends how to make Adobo as well as Lumpia and Pancit. I love it!

I love it especially the PORK ADOBO!!!! Sometimes I add slices of potatoes to make it more nutritious.
