Update!!!!

as you may know, had you read here.... http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1722973.aspx I ordered some ram on the 22nd. Well, I still await, with great impatience, My ram!!!!!!! It is Monday and they (USPS) have not gotten it to me. 15 miles people. This is intolerable. I will not put up with it, the sudo-governmental/sudo-private organization can fail for all I care. They are more outdated than faxing (I don't understand what faxes still exist, outside of museums anyway). I think the Pony express must have been more efficient than these fools! Guh!

Nice comment! That's the truth... I ordered a part once, and it was sitting in the nearby city(approx 22mi away) for the whole weekend. I should have went and got it, but I have a god character trait: Patience. Hahaha...

Hehe, yeah, I tried that, asked the lady on the phone, but they said they did not allow that until after they had tried to deliver it.....

Blacklisted by whom? It's not New Egg that I am annoyed with, it's the post office....

Ah, I don't see going that far, but it is REALLY annoying. I'm a little more meow now, though I fear slightly that they have lost it............

Mind me asking how much you spent on the ram? What type do you use/need? I get most of my computer parts from a site called TigerDirect.com . (http://www.tigerdirect.com) . They run great promotions, and I can usually get a gig of DDR2 for $10. It's quality memory too, not just cheap stuff. I suggest also getting a memory cooler, as that really aids in a faster computer. They have great shipping speeds, too. When I ordered all my computer parts for my custom, I got almost all of my parts(the memory was on backorder) within about 3 days of the purchase. That is the usual time of delivery, around 2-4 days. Of course, that is if you live in central USA(Kentucky area). But still, it's great prices, and it may save you some money... Not really a response to your question, but it may help you in the future. Good luck in your computing endeavors!

I got 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel, costs me $101.00, and there is a $0.00 rebate, if I ever get it, bringing the price down to $61.00. I have gone through this copmpany before (new egg), but payed the little extra to have it shipped via UPS. Which I will do next time.
