I have already listened to the new album a few times, and there are a few conclusions I would like to share with you all. First of all, a not so good one. Basically, I think that Metallica will never compose a masterpiece again. At least, not one comparable to any of the albums that go from Master till Black Album. Secondly, a better one. Metallica is back. This is not their best album, but it's a metal album, and their sound is finally recognizable. After something so pathetic as St. Anger, I was looking forward to see Metallica being themselves again. Third. I am thrilled to know what their evolution will be from now on. They have done something new, with the old times sound but adapted to the new wave. Jame's voice is not what it used to be, and Ulrich should really reconsider learning how to play drums again...this is not the drummer I admired in And Justice for All. Anyway, I think that it's a good album, a great album. The only problem it has is that it's a Metallica album, and the comparison with the super albums they did in the past will always be there. What do you guys think of the new album?
