My favorite room in the house is my family room. I have warm colors so the room feels comfortable. I have bookshelves filled with my favorite books from my favorite authors. And its also where i do my work!! I just love being in my living room! What is your favorite room in the house?

Right now I'd have to say my livingroom. It is bright and we have overstuffed furniture that feels soooooo good to sit on! I have pictures of my family who have passed away in there. Whenever I look at them, I have good memories of our time together. It's also where my husband and I get together to relax. He has his HUGE Sony Bravia 52" high-def LCD TV with all the trimmings... BluRay DVD player, turntable, Sirius radio, Wii game system, etc. etc. etc. (Men!!!) Anyway, he's in heaven when we're in the livingroom and it's so much fun to talk with him there so I really enjoy that room.

Hahahaha! Yeah, there are like 6 remotes to this mega-media center he's constructed! But he bought a universal remote that cost... get this (and don't faint) $500.00!!!!! It's so complicating and frustrating that I won't even touch the thing! He had to program it via the internet! I'll watch TV by myself in that room, but when it comes to anything else... music, DVD, whatever... I wait for him to switch it over for me. If I tried to do it myself, I'd probably end up throwing the remote(s) into the TV!

LOL... Yes men! Can I ask.... How many remotes does your husband have? Why I ask is because my husband drives me crazy with all his remotes... He has so many I have a hard time keeping track which one is which. And he bought one of those universal remotes and let me tell you.. I was so confused. Im still learning how to work it. Thanks for taking time to comment it sounds like a very lovely room.

You would be surprised what a little paint can do. If the paint color is warm the more cozy you will fill. You can go to ask.com and ask where you can get some idea's that dont cost alot. Best of luck to you and again thanks for taking time to share your thoughts
