In your home do you have hardwood floors, tile, or carpeting or a combination of 2 or all three? If you were able to would you change your flooring, and if so what would change it too? Or are you happy with the floors you currently have?

We have mostly carpeting and a small bit of tile. If I could change our flooring (and I really want to!) I would get a pretty hardwood or ceramic tile for the downstairs. Our carpet is pretty much trashed from our dog. I would like a floor that the dog isn't able to affect.

Our entire lower level of our house is hardwood, with the exception of our laundry room, which has lanolium. Our entire upstairs area, and our stairs is carpeted. With the exception of the shower area in the master bathroom. Even the 2nd bathroom on the upper level is carpeted which is not a good thing. Our basement has Berber carpet, and the basement bathroom has tile. I am happy with all of our floors except for the 2nd upstairs bathroom. The people who live here before us carpeted it, but carpet is not good in a bathroom, especially if the toilet over flows. I would prefer to have tile or lanolium in there, we have been meaning to do it for years we just never got around to it.

In my home I have marble floor for the living room. For the kitchen and all bathrooms I have tiles on it. In my bedroom and all other rooms I have parquet on the floor. I think I am satisfied with the current flooring. I am renting this house but if I buy a house in the future, I think I will have the same flooring like I am having now. It is easy to clean all these type of floors. That is the most important thing for me, because I am not that strong to do the cleaning so I always find a way so that I can do the cleaning in the most easiest way and with less energy usage.

Right now we have a combination, in the living room it is a hard wood floor, computer room and bedrooms have carpet, the bathroom has tile. The kitchen and laundry room is waiting for their wood flooring right now so it is subflooring there right now. I love my wood floor and my tile, cant wait to get the rest of the floors done, hard job with 5 kids thou!

I have yucky blue carpet through the whole house and linoleum in the kitchen. I have what is called a "pre-fab" house, so when they delivered the home, it already had this stuff installed. My dad is going out on the road soon and said that I was in charge of the house. I said COOL!! I am changing the carpet to a darker color and not so cheesy looking. The kitchen doesn't look that bad, and actually cleans up well. I got excited because I just found the coolest molding for my room, and my son's room is going to an indigo color. I am excited!!

I have both carpet and tile in my house. ; ) Marble and..carpet. : O (I have no idea what kind of carpet mine is. ; ) Blue carpet I guess? : D) No, I don't think I would change my flooring (or would I?), but wet tile is dangerous. ; ) (Wet hardwood tile is dangerous too. Wet carpet is just weird. : D) Maybe I might want to change my flooring so that I have all three? Hm..nah, I'm fine with the flooring I have now ~ ; )

I have hardwood floors, tiles and 4 steps of carpet, I would love to get rid of all my tiles and replace them with more hardwood floors, they are so much nicer than tiles but this is the way my place is so i have to be happy with it...
