hi all! well, i had the pelvic ultrasound already today. the baby was so good. he/she woke up when the doctor arrived and was moving arms and legs while the scan was going on. but well, the gender was still too hazy to tell. the doctor could not even make predictions. she showed us the butt area but it was all shadowy. she said, we can wait till 8 months for another scan. that way, it will be clear. baby is healthy, with active fetal heart rate and fetal somatic movement. no nuchal cord. baby weighs about 12 oz. but no length was given. still a breech position now. so i guess the baby will just surprise us then. heheh it is okay. the Lord knows. take care all and God bless you! have a happy weekend!

My daughter is 5 years old already. I had ultrasound 3x. 1st when I was 3 months preggy coz I slipped and fall really bad. We had to check how the baby was. 2nd was I think 6 months. I gotta check her baby album. But she's hiding her genitalia so we only see her side. 3rd was 8 mos preggy. We definitely saw her full body and her gender.

When I got pregnant. I asked my obstetrician to have a ultrasound at my 8 months of pregnancy. My baby is cephalic position and a healthy baby girl about 7.9 pounds when I gave birth normal delivery. I don't recommend to much machine procedure because it can cause stress to baby or anxiety inside the womb. But if your doctor suggest frequently you may. To know the condition of the fetus. I'm a nursing graduate that's why it's easy for me to handle when I got pregnant.

Yeah, it is normal for babies not showing their genders. My sister in law had the same situation too. The baby hadn't shown his gender even after the seventh month and finally the couple decided to let it be just like that. They thought a surprise would be just fine. But at the middle of the 8th month, my sister in law couldn't suppress her anxiety and went for another check-up and this time the baby revealed his gender which is a boy. He was born perfectly healthy and nothing is missing from him. All is normal.
