Have you tried Ro Tel? I love to make a dip using Ro Tel. My favorite is a hambuger Rotel dip. And it is easy to make all you need is a crock pot, some Ro Tel, cheese I prefer Velveta and a pound of groud beef, browned in a skillet. Add them all together in the crock pot. You dip with tortilla chips. I make me some on the weekends and sit back do a little MyLotting while dipping my dip. Do you have any good Ro-Tel recipes?

I have had this dip that you are referring to before. It is actually quite good. When we were kids my brother used to always make dip with Velveeta, milk, and a mixture or chili powder, cumin, and garlic powder. That was good also. I think it would be good with ground beef in it too. I have heard of doing it with Velveeta and salsa or Velveeta and chili too although I have not tried those.

Do you use homemade chili or the canned stuff when you make the chili cheese stuff?

Hello Chevee. I use RO TEL in my chili. i just pit a can along with a can of diced tomatoes and and can of tomato sauce Some hamburger and red beans. Then all I add is the chili powder. Makes great chili. I hadn't thought to make a dip with the RO TEL but it does sound good. I'll have to try it soon.

I've had the dip. It's yummy. But I also put the Ro Tel in my chili. Especially when I am making with just my hubby in mind. Gives the chili a nice zip to the flavor.

I just melt the Velveta and add the Ro-Tel tomatoes and dip with tortilla chips. I love Ro-Tel. Just the right amount of spiciness for me.

Velveeta and salsa is great, and really easy. My husband makes his own salsa and so to make that dip with his salsa is just awesome. My sister made one recently that was baked in the oven, but I'm sure it would work well in the crock pot too. Brown a thing of sausage, mix in the pan with cream cheese, 1 can of rotel, 1 can of regular diced tomatoes, and then sprinkle some shredded cheddar on top. It's a very sturdy dip, so I like to eat it with Fritos Scoops. I made some of this on New Year's Eve and it was awesome.

I make that same dip and it's really good. We usually only make it if we are going to a party or if we are having people over. Everytime we make it people talk about how good it is and they want to know how to make it. It's really simple and tastes really good. I don't have any other Ro-Tel recipes though.

Ro Tel; sounds like Rotee, and this word stands for a common eating material in our society which could be translated as ‘bread’ in English. Nan, paratha, double rote, phulka, tikali, kulcha and lawash are some of the other types of Rotee. Rotee kapra aor makan are correlated with each other. And it is very famous saying that every person needs Rotee, Kapra and makan i.e. Bread, cloth and shelter.

I like Ro-Tel just as a dip also. We had some a couple of weekends ago with the velveta cheese and ro-tel. I don't like it when it is too hot. It is good also to put a couple of tablespoons of it in a meat loaf.

I have a couple of cans of that in the cabinet.. I don't have the Velveeta but I think that I will keep this recipe and give it a try.. I will be going to the store in a bit, I think that I will be having it tonight.. We went to Taco Bell last night and this sounds like what my husband ordered, only his was loaded with sour cream..

I love using ficed tomatoes with green chiles in many dishes, but my absolute favorite and easy one is this. 1 mild chili seasoning packet 2 cans of Bush's red kidney beans 1 can of diced tomatoes with green chiles 1 lb of browned hamburger 1/2 a can (the little one) of tomato paste Throw all of this (cans undrained) into a crock pot add some water if needed and stir it up. Let it cook as long as it needs to. I usually start it around three and it is ready by five. I love it...the best and easiest chili I have ever made. If I want it to have a homemade taste to it I soak dry beans the night before and let the beans cook all day and then add the rest of the ingredients. Might have to make that this weekend. Very nice on chilly nights.

I had never heard of it until I was at a friends house in NC and she made a dip similar to what you make. She uses Jimmy Dean spicy sausage instead of ground beef. It was pretty good!!

Yea, it's very good! We've also had it where the person used grounded turkey or grounded chicken. Or they used salsa with the cheese & Ro-Tel! We actually haven't done it ourselves we usually have relatives that do it. I believe they add spices and other things. I believe you are right! It's so easy so I should try to get some to make for myself. That sounds like a good snack, right? I could eat it while on myLot

I love Rotel tomatoes. I do use them in dips but also in soups, stews and chili. I add them to my spaghetti sauce also. They make several versions. Just the right bite for me. Not too spicy.

I have tried this but it's just to hot for us. Even when added to other things, like stew, cheese, etc. It's to darn hot.
