"You look fine today" or "Your presentation was great! They just didn`t get it..." WE SAY, and we LIE. We don`t want to hurt. We want to make person feel better. BUT IS IT GOOD? It is not good to lie. But is it good to make WHITE (so called- white) LIES? If so, then what is POSITIVE and what is NEGATIVE about white lies. Name it!

I think that instead of calling them "little white lies" you should classify it as oppinion. You tell a lie by trying not to get in trouble after doing something you should not have done. Telling someone something they want to hear is also not the best thing. It's like your best friend letting you walk around with a bugger in your nose or a peice of food in your tooth. If you really didn't like something something about someone or something they have done there are "tastefull" ways of saying it without necessarly hurting someones feelings. You should try to think of how you would want someone to tell you something and practice it on someone you know. It's also a matter of should you even say something. Most of the time what someone wares is a matter of oppinion in your eyes. Maybe they like it but you don't have to. Knowing you wouldn't ware that is something you should keep to yourself. I guess if you see something that is offensive to you or the public you should (tastfully) make a conversation about it and see what happens.

Yes, very good answer. White lies have made more evil to me: people could not say the truth, and one day COMES the normal person and says everything STRAIGHT in the eyes. Geesh, still in the shock. White lies can put PINK glasses on ones eyes and keep away from hearing the TRUTH, isn`t it so?

yes! you are so correct. And I believe that if your going to tell the truth it is important to do that. Why try to make someone feel good for one moment when the outcome may be more hurtful to them.
