If you could some up the year 2008 in 1 word What would it be and why?
Mine would be "Uneventful" because there was really nothing special about last year.
I guess it was just an all right year, which is a good thing.
The highlights of last year were,2 concerts, 1 chili cook off and 1 party we went to.
The rest of the year was spend at work or at home.
What's your word for 2008?

It was a good year for me. I was thrilled to see Ireland for the first time in my life. We went for a week's vacation and we really had fun.

Hey missy! I guess I would say! Forgetful! I would like to
forget it! It was uneventful and not a very good year for me
so that's pretty much how I feel about it! It had alot of
not so fun things for me and unfortunately they are going
to continue right into 2009! I am hoping that it won't be
this way for long and this New Year will start looking up
very soon!

Well, I'd have to say 2008 was terrible...Just a few weeks ago, I finally had surgery to remove kidney stones that have been inside of me since November of 2007...So 2008 was nothing but awful pain...

hi
well i would call it as a "blend" of everything.i ewally had very nice and memorable moments.i got myself into mylot and pl.and i could find some really very nice friends over net.and i didnot face much of hardships but this year taught me the the true love what others have for me.life is a blend of everything.

Mine would be "DIFFERENT". 2008 has been a different year from me as it's the first time I survive independently without my family by my side some distance away from home.

It's hard at first but it gets better.
I've been away from my family for 24 years.
They in germany and i'm in america.

If I had to sum up 2008 in one word it would be "tumaltuous". Our lives were life altering when my hubby was diagnosed with termanal lung cancer and he started chemotherapy as a way to slow down the cancer. We have been in turmoil ever since. Everything in our lives has changed. It's a valuable lesson though to not take things for granted.

I feel your pain, I work at a hospice and i see cancer patients every day.
I wish you a happy and blessed 2009.
