Have you heard of this new website called Gamefly.com? It is much like Netflix, except on Gamefly, you rent video games. They're mailed right to your door, you keep them as long as you want, and then mail them back and they'll send you the next game on your list. It is rather inexpensive too. I forget the exact prices, but I think it's about $11 a month to get 1 game at a time, but it's unlimited games per month. As soon as you send it back, they'll send you another. It usually only takes about 2 days once you send yours back to get another. Not to mention, $11 is about how much it costs to rent a video game at Blockbuster stores. We just signed up for this a couple days ago, and we got our first two games today in the mail. I think this is a great way to try out games before you buy them. Have you joined Gamefly yet?

I signed up for Gamefly for my son awhile back. I quit after about 2 months. It was taking about 5 days to get a new game AFTER the 5 days it took them to get the one I sent back. Plus they said they sent a game once and I never got it. You have to wait like 10 days without getting it before they send you a replacement one. My son only ended up getting maybe 2 games a month.

Hmm, I hope we don't end up having that problem. I think it's probably because they don't have centers all over the place like Netflix and Blockbuster do. I get my Blockbuster movies in 2 days tops. I just looked and my games are shipping to Pittsburgh, PA. I'm in central, NY. Might take awhile for me to get mine too. We'll wait and see.

I live in Missouri and I think mine were coming all the way out in California. My friend at the post office said they are using the bulk rate slow shipping, so that is why it was taking so long. When I used NetFlix's they were coming from St. Louis so it was pretty quick.

I've looked at this but never really done it before. I think that it's a waist to just wait for a game to come into the mail when you can just go to blockbuster. It might be good if you don't have one nearby but I just think that the shipping takes to long.

Generally, the shipping should only take a couple days. But renting them at Blockbuster is more expensive. It costs about $10 to rent a game at Blockbuster, but with Gamefly I can get 1 game at a time for the same price, however as soon as I send it back, a couple days later I'll have another at no extra charge. I could have like 4 games a month for the price of 1. That's a better deal to me.

Nah, I haven't rented any games in a long time. I just buy them in the stores if I know I'll like them or if I've heard good things about them. Plus, I've got a ton of games just collecting dust that need to be played.

I would do that but i just cant wait for the games i want. I buy my games, I get only games that are rated good and ive at least played the demo. I dont trust anything similar to netflix always never receive what i want. Or never even receive it. Renting games are just short-term, I buy so i can play again depending if its good or not.
