How do you deal with idiot drivers?

I drop the kids off in the morning and there's a crossing guard by the elementary school. Usually things are pretty orderly but now and then there's somebody trying to take advantage (going at the stop sign when it isn't their turn) or some outright idiots (the worst passed me on the right to go through the crosswalk while there were kids in it). I usually just tell them they are idiots and why they are idiots. Like "it wasn't your turn you idiot" or "I wish a cop was here to get you for that you idiot". Where they can't hear me, in my car with the windows closed, of course. I don't flip them off or chase them down or yell at them or anything. How do you deal with idiot drivers?

We have the exact same problem here! Mothers in thier Hummers and BMW 4WD's, and Merecedes! They SPEED in the school parking lot and through the cross walks! (What? Do they think they are so cool?!) I just cannot understand why they think they are so special, thier cars?! I sat in the parking lot of the school one day and took down 4 license plates to turn into the CHP. I lost the list! I know that makes me sound busybodyish-I don't care. When I am in a school zone I drive the limit or even under and use extreme caution, I would never forgive myself if I did something stupid and injured or killed a child. I just look at it as "Wow, these people must have AWESOME insurance to drive so carelessly in a school lot and school zone." The first month of school the CHP had a giant sign that told your speed, some parents were driving in excess of 40 MPH right in front of the school!

Yeah, no Shiznet. Opps! But, I DO feel strongly about this, someone was just passing on the right today because Charter Cable was working on the pole! Impatient Ones!

I'm not the best driver myself but I try to be more or less orderly and I always slow down when I see people on the crosswalk(even though it makes fume when they are taking their time). I seldom talk AT them but I can say a few profanities to myself if I feel they might be endangering people around them and I barely missed the accident. The videos of people fighting physically because of road rage always make me laugh but I'm afraid I might find myself there one day A couple of months ago I was driving down a narrow street(one way) where cars were parked on both sides. Obviously, that was my right of way but some guy got in his car and reversed at 40mph without even looking around so I really had to fling the steering wheel to the side to avoid HIM. He drove away but the light has already changed and I was stuck in the middle of intersection almost parallel to the light fuming If there was a cop around,I don't know how I would explain my position-"Sorry,officer,but that idiot made me park like that" lol And as much as I like Corvettes,I was considering the idea of looking for that guy with a cross wrench or at least a snow brush

My favorites (not) are the ones who do something idiot like that and then look at you or yell at you as if it's your fault!

when it comes to driving,i am very careful .but some idiots do leave a bad taste in my mouth.when i go to pick up my kids from school,i am very careful,as there are lots of tiny tots around.to add to the confusion,a teenager with a bicycles crosses directly in front of me,which causes me to break suddenly.thankfully, there were no cars behind me,otherwise i would have been surely hit.i yell at the teenager, dont they teach you some traffic rules in school

I'm a closet screamer. Wih windows rolled up, I curse, scream, yell, call them every name in the book. Doesn't help anything except to make me feel better.

I don't scream but I do say what I'm thinking and call them names!
