How do you enter the university of your country

I'm from China,in our country,the students usually enter the university by a examination called "entrance college examination",and it means everything to us.?
After we receive the senior middle school education for 3 years we will have this exam, yeah, I am the senior 3 middle school student,that means I will take the exam in June,2009.
And how about yours?

It is the same in India. there are different examinations. say a common entrance test for entrance into any of the colleges in India(eg- AIEEE, for engg course), entrance exam (for separate states), and of course there are entrance exams for separate colleges(which are deemed). These are not the different stage of exams,(just diff types). Are you planning to do your grads in any other country?

I'd like to but I cannot do that because I miss the time to prepare for apply for any foreign university and I don't want to waste my time to be conditioned to the custom and food and~~~~~~~~~
so I want to enter the university of my contury
