what's the use of writing stars in helium.com?

My article started earning with 1 rating star, but now i have 4 rating stars, with 18 completed articles, my writing score shows 0 and 0 writing stars. What is the use of writing stars? Has it got anything to do with the earnings? I'm eager to know.

Hi there! You will get more writing stars with the more articles that you put on Helium. I currently have over 100 articles on there and still only 2 writing stars so it takes a bit of working out.
I have a blog which you can find from my profilepage which gives helpful hints and tips on using Helium such as how to make more money and suchlike so maybe you could take a look and let me know if it was useful for you?
I hope you manage to earn soon. As long as you have at least one rating star you can earn, the writing stars will come much slower but they will eventually appear if you put work on there!
