Are we suddenly a 'black' America?

I voted for O'Bama and believe he is truly the best man for the job at this time. However, comments and coverage are treating this as a celebration for blacks instead of a celebration for the US. Almost all of the entertainers for the inauguration are black, the speeches bringing up black history; it has really taken something out of it for me. It was blacks AND white who toiled hard to build this nation. White people were also lynched but that is NEVER brought up, especially by a black person. Black people are acting like this is their exclusive celebration. I just read a post where someone wrote he hoped O'Bama doesn't go all albino on him. Well, I hope America doesn't get 'all black' on us. Like the postal system, once you get one in in a high position, that's all that's hired from then on. I feel that there is more prejudice in this actual day than I have for a long, long time.

Obama can't afford to alienate anyone. Blacks alone won't get him elected should he decide to run again in 2012.

The tiny bits I saw trying to change the channel and avoid it made me laugh because it reminded me of the youtube video my daughter had sent me some weeks ago about the Obama inaugural ceremony practice. Especially some of those bands I happened to see today.

OMG! I am so glad you spoke out. As I watched the parade I didnt see them show any white people hardly are they weren't in the crowd and I agree with you the black people are using this for their day in history. They finally got their day and it will be abused everytime we turn around.

im not even from america im from australia and i can see it. no offence but black people seem to be the most racist people out there. its a whole new era. all that should be put behind us. im sure obama is going to do a really good job. his skin color should have nothing to do with it. and neither should any of the white presidents before him. him being elected should show that the whole devide between black and white people are a thing of the past. seriously people get over it
