Information on applying for a grant

Hello Myloters. I would like to know if there's anyone who has ever applied for Individual or Business grant. I have been through a million different grant websites, but I haven't come across one that has the information that I am looking for. Most of the sites I've come across have been for ORGANIZATIONS OR GROUPS who need grants. Any information for this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for in advance for any responses.
