Listening to music

Do you typically listen to music because it reminds you of a certain time in your life, or do you listen because you like the tune? I know I listen to top 40 now. But when I listen to 80s music, it takes me right back to that time! Anyone else?

i listen to sorrowful music.they depicts what i am feeling in the past few years.the loneliness of nights alone, the search for strength to carry on.the music reflects my feelings towards what mortals called this thing love.
