Be honest....who LOVES good tornado season?

I have to admit, this question is inspired by a friend on here that lives in tornado alley....I also have to admit, I am an adrenaline junkie when it comes to severe weather...I get such a rush from watchng the sky knowing that something terrible could be brewing out of sight and hoping it doesn't hit me. Am I alone in this weird fascination or do any of you enjoy a good storm/tornado???

The storms might be awesome and scary and sometimes they are just too fascinating but when the destructions comes close to home, it is very difficult to feel anything else but fear. Bad weather scares me. Cheers!!

I do not like the destruction from it. I don't want to see anyone hurt or lose their homes or families or anything like that. I just am fascinated by the storm itself. It's exciting.... :-)

It's addictive isn't it! It's an adrenaline rush. I love the black clouds, wind, thunder and lightening. I of course don't like the destruction they leave and could do without that part but the storm itself is amazing!!!

Honestly.... when I was a baby we moved to Illinois where there were a lot of tornadoes and when we left there we drove thru 6 of them.As a child I was deathly afraid of thunderstorms.Now that I am an adult the past 7 or 8 years we have been stating to get tornadoes here in Virginia every summer and I am horrifid.

I have a primal instinct to protect my children so the danger aspect of them I don't like. It's the adrenaline that comes from a good storm that I love. Where we live, they all fizzle out before they get to us so maybe that's why I'm so attracted to them.

I'm not that excited by them, but my HUSBAND thinks they are "cool". 
One of his favorite movies is "Twister". He loves watching "Storm Chasers". Sometimes I wish he would join a chase group or something to get it out of his system.

Every time that movie is on, I get to hear about how my husband used to have the soundtrack, but his ex took it with him.

I love a good thunderstorm
but being as I live in tornado alley I am not a big fan of tornado season
being hit by a tornado ranks right at the top of the list of my biggest fears
i do like to watch them on TV though
i love that show storm chasers I just could never BE a storm chaser
