Do you still give or send greeting cards?

Valentine's Day is fast approaching. Have you been to the greeting cards section already? I still have to go to National Bookstore to buy my greeting cards. I still give cards to my relatives here and abroad and some of my friends too. I still give cards because I know how it feels to receive one. It's a simple gift but it really makes me happy reading on those personally written notes on the greeting cards and it makes me smile thinking that they made an effort of choosing the right card for me.

I am the greeting card freak! I buy cards all the time just to send out, even if it's just a Hey, How ya doing card... Who doesn't like going to the mail box and finding something special in there for them? I always buy birthday cards to send out or attach to the gifts because it's something alittle extra and it shows that you put the effort into finding that speical card to express your feelings. I do the online greetings as well, and as I was a child growing up, my momma always made us kids make our family christmas cards to send out or hand out as they come to the house for the holidays. I know carry on this tradition with my kids. My son is 6 and he makes cards for everyone and anyone, for just because reasons. There have been many times he'll sneak and stay up late and make me an "I love You" card... makes my heart melt.

Yes, i still send greeting cards to my family and of course to my Husband. Actually, i already got one for my husband and kept it safe for right now. When the Valentine's Day is here i will then give him direction to where he can find my Valentine's Card for him.

Hello marisriel! I am thinking of sending valentines card to my husband too. Although I don't have much time to send it, I might consider buy a personalized card online.

Since online greeting cards were introduced, I seem to have lost interest in buying "real greeting cards" to give my friends and relatives. But I still buy once in a while on very rare occasions only. And sometimes, when I'm FORCED to do so... LOL! You know the best greeting cards? Those that are personally made by kids! So, be ready with a piece of tissue when you start reading your kids greeting cards for you. Your heart might melt! Oh, I have to remember to coach your kids to ask for a new toy when they give their cards to you. he he he!

You bet. I'm looking forward this Valentine's Day if my eldest will give me a Valentine's Card courtesy of her schooling. I hope she does.

Yes, I still give greeting cards. Most of the time, to my boyfriend, during our monthsaries and other special occasions. I also give them out to my family during Christmas. Sometimes, I send out e-cards too.
