I think the concept of the movie is very good. It is a great honour for Indian film industry too that it is been directed along with a Hollywood Director. But it have a big big question how a person who is from slum can answer all questions of WHO WANT TO BE A MILLIONAIRE. They are simply relating to Hero's personal life. Otherwise the movie was ok.

Hi, it was based on the book "Q and A". I liked the movie but that is MY opinion and everyone has their own opinion of the movie, some like it and some don't. I wrote what I thought in my own movie blog.

I completely disagree with your question. The whole concept of the movie is excellent. The way he coincided the answer for a question with Jamal's life is quite an extra ordinary thinking.I just got amazed with the movie and the backgroung score by Rahman and the song "O SAYA" was rocking. I have a question that should the Indian movies directed by Hollywood directors only go for Oscar? I don't like that completely. I think good movies should be recognised by OSCAR. THANKS FOR POSTING HAPPY MYLOTTING

i find it a really good movie. a lot of people may be wondering why a "slumdog" was able to answer all those questions, i say why not? the concept of the movie is cool. it's not the usual plot and there are some things in this world which are really meant to happen...

i think the awards speak for themselves.anything good said about the film would be an understatement.its not just any other film. Yes i agree with you..but there must be some kind of a miracle or some kind of extraordinary flavor to it to make it standout. Overall its a good one indeed. But i seriously think that if this film was directed by an Indian director and released in Bollywood first i don't think it would have been recognized as much. Whats your take on this???

The Slum-boy, i'm quite sure, was able to answer all that big question based on his childhood experiences. I don't quite remember all the scences, but one part, where question like- "Which American President was printed on the $100". And in return, the slum recalls from childhood times where another slums(the blind)kid tells him that it's Benjamin Franklin on that dollar he had recieved from the Protagonist. Maybe, that's the whole concept about this answering stuffs, which i later found quite ridiculous, and hilarious. The bottom line is "it's good, and a must watch movie"

If you are thinking that why all questions were related to his life only the answers is that this is a movie depiction and they are basically trying to show that life teaches you many things and things taught by life are never forgotten by one. Because life teaches you a hard way . what we learn from books can be forgotten but not what life has taught you because here you are the subject not somebody else
