Do you like to eat all kinds of fish?or do you have some specific preference?

One thing I like in our 1 year stay here in Davao City (March 16,2008 to March 31,2009-because of my husband's work),is that unlike the village where our house is in Manila, the village here in Davao where we are temporarily housed, allows vendors. Vendors selling fish, corn, and native delicacies ae the only ones allowed though. Different goods are being sold by walking people shouting their wares. They have their time schedule too. Like pan de sal(round bread) by 5:30am. Puto maya(sticky rice) by 6am. Fish by 7-8am. Fruits around noon. Nestle and Selecta ice creams around 3pm.Rice cakes-such as hot bibingka and palitaw, also boiled corn around 4-5pm.Well,dont think so much of how much weigth I have gained. Back to my question-Do you like to eat fish?...I ask this because,I do not like fish so much. I find them malansa(that's basically what we call the smell of fish here) But there are exceptions: This morning,I bought from a lady shouting Lapu-lapu(not the native who killed Magellan)but its a Grouper fish...and expensive. I bought it for $5/kilo...which is a very ok price compared to Manila. I can eat lapulapu either fried, sweet&sour,or stew. I also eat Galunggong(female-Hard tail mackerel/male-Round scad)and Bisugo(Thread fin fish)as long as they are fried toasted. I also eat fresh anchovies(dilis)as long as its head is taken out and cooked with vinegar. But I eat,all kinds of dried fish. The irony is...I eat sashimi-because it is prepared with no smell at all. My husband and 2 kids eat any fish. It is only I who has specific preference. How about you?Enjoy eating.

in the first part of our relationship my wife (gf back then) said i am a picky eater. i dont eat much veggies and fruits. now that we have a three year old son whos picture appears as my avatar i am trying to chew a few veggies and fruits to be a role model for him. you know how they say, monkey see monkey do.

Hello.around 3 years ago, before coming here to Davao,my husband's work area were the North and South Luzon. Meaning, Pangasinan-milkfish capital was included in the map. we always had all those bangus cut...belly,daing,spring roll...as long as they are all boneless, then my kids will love them.Happy eating

I love fish! My favorites are salmon and catfish. I feel like I can eat my weight in either one.

I eat a lot of fish as I prefer not to eat meat, I always have fish if i go to a restaurant for a meal but i also buy fillets of fish to have maybe three times a week as it is essential for the body to have certain oils that come from fish, I usually buy the cheapest fillets what ever it is from the fish monger but for me that is ok

I'm located at a Delta region. It means that rivers and sea are nearer to me. i eat both river and sea fish of local flavour and relish.I like Sharks more than any other variety.

i absolutely love fish and i think i can live my whole life with nothing else to eat but fish and vegetables. maybe it's psychological but i seem to feel healthier when i eat fish. i prefer fish with white flesh though. my mom would never let me eat dark fleshed (duguon) fish like bariles
