ethics applied in your professional life.?..

The problem with ethics is that, sometimes, it is not ethical. What I mean is, who will define which is ethical or not? Who will judge which is right or wrong? So at work, or in any profession, defending on basis of ethical standards creates more confusion than solution. I would rather have the company's rules and regulations or the profession's code of ethics to guide me in my professional dealings.
