It should be something about your spit glands that they don't ooze out. I ams sure doctor would tell you the reason and suggest the best way to get rid of dry mouth in the future. My advice, every time your mouth goes dry, imagine of a chocolate cake or something what you really like to eat, that might help, haha. :)

Well, it sounds like you might need to investigate which Medication(s) are causing this, or if there is another outlying issue behind this, and see what you can do to change this. Have you just tried maybe Ice Chips so you did not have to go all of the time? I guess if it was me I would be doing research as this would bother me as well.

being that it's cold where you are is it possible the heat in the house is causing it ? in homes down south they have forced air heat comming out of vent's up north there's baseboard heat that has moisture in it, i notice that myself during the " winter " months. but like ya say could be the meds. do ya like citrus fruit that will get your saliva glands goin.

The only thing that I have is maybe to put a small ice cube in your mouth if you can handle it. That is what we did for my Grandfather when he was sick and had horrible dry mouth. Hope this might help.

I suggested that you look at doctor, because I thought that this possibility is a sickness,or is one kind of not good phenomenon, possible doctor to be able to help you to solve it.

Well, try sucking on some candies. Lemon flavored ones are the best. They will force the mouth to salivate. As such, the mouth will not be so dry. Or try sucking on some preserved plums. They do the same thing as lemon sweets. As long as the thing you put in your mouth is a little sourish, it should help in promoting salivation to keep the mouth wet.

So, have you tried it? Is it working for you? Does sucking on sweets or something sourish keep your mouth moist?

hi... i hope you are doing fine now.. i also have dry mouth. and one way of making it cool and wet is to eat juicy fruits. i guess, a mint lip balm will also help too. i know how it feels to pee all the time.

hi. dry mouth or xerostomia is caused by medications that you are taking. yes, it can do harmful effects to teeth because there won't be any saliva that acts as buffer to your mouth's acidity. i advise you visit your dentist for check up to detect early the presence of new cavities as you had dry mouth for some time now. and so that he can give you advise on what to do to lessen your dry mouth. i hope this helped. :-)

I suggest you could take some kind of throat drop to keep your mouth stay away from dry. but as far as I know, drink more water is good for your health. drinking more wather can thin your bodily fluid and if the bodily fluid is too thick is no good cause you health problems.
