I haven't met a person who is a vegetarian. Vegetarians, as far as I know are those people who eat vegetables only. I think, for me, that is a very hard thing to do and will take a lot of practice in acquiring the taste. I am not a meat and chicken person but I don't think I can live eating vegetables only. Can you?

Really, you haven't tasted meat and fish all your life? That's awesome, and are you sure you are not missing half of your life by doing that?

Even though I love vegetable and have had meatless meals I could not just have vegetables all the time. I like meat too much. I was just raised on meat on do like it. I do like a bit of fish but the rest of my family do not like fish except shell fish.

I also like to eat seafood sometimes and one of my favorite are crabs, though they are too hard to eat, the scraping and stuff.

vegetarians are simply people who do not eat meat. I do not know anyone who strictly eats vegetables I think that would not be a very healthy diet. I think veggies should eat fruit cheese and all sorts of other things. You really need protein and you can not get that from strictly eating vegetables.

Here's a wiki page about vegetarianism - "Vegetarianism is the practice of a diet that excludes meat (including game and slaughter by-products), fish (including shellfish and other sea animals) and poultry.[1][2] There are several variants of the diet, some of which also exclude eggs and/or some products produced from animal labour such as dairy products and honey. The vegan diet is a form of vegetarianism which excludes all animal products from the diet, such as meat, poultry, fish, dairy products, eggs, and honey. Those who practice veganism for ethical reasons often exclude animal products from their diet as part of a larger practice of abstaining from the use of animals for any purpose (e.g. leather, fur, etc.), often out of support for animal rights.[3][4] Most vegetarians consume dairy products, and many eat eggs. Lacto-vegetarianism includes dairy products but excludes eggs , ovo-vegetarianism includes eggs but not dairy, and lacto-ovo vegetarianism includes both eggs and dairy products. Semi-vegetarianism consists of a diet largely of vegetarian foods, but may include fish and sometimes even poultry, as well as dairy products and eggs. The association of semi-vegetarianism with vegetarianism in popular vernacular, particularly pescetarianism (also called pesco-vegetarianism and described as a "vegetarian" diet that includes fish[5][6][7][8]), has led to what vegetarian groups cite as improper categorisation of these diets as vegetarian. The Vegetarian Society, which initiated popular usage of the term vegetarian as early as 1847, condemns the association of semi-vegetarian diets as valid vegetarianism; the organisation points out that the consumption of fish is not vegetarian.[9] The reasons for choosing vegetarianism may be related to morality, religion, culture, ethics, aesthetics, environment, society, economy, politics, taste, or health. A generic term for both vegetarianism and veganism, as well as for similar diets, is "plant-based diets".[10] Properly planned vegetarian diets have been found to satisfy the nutritional needs for all stages of life, and large-scale studies have shown vegetarianism to significantly lower risks of cancer, ischaemic heart disease, and other diseases". It basically means that there are vegetarians who eat meat but in the form of poultry, like egg. I can be a vegetarian too in that case

I love to eat green leafy vegetables a lot but I am not a vegetarian. I don't want to be a vegetarian as I still love to eat chicken and eggs. But I do eat vegetarian dishes.

There's one food outlet here named Bodhi and it served all vegemeat food. I like the food there, and surprisingly my kids too. It's because they make these meatlike meals without using meat all, just vegemeat, a processed type of vegetable.

I'm not a vegetarian, but I enjoy eating vegetables as much as I like meat. When I was younger, I didn't like certain vegetables like aubergines, bitter gourd or even leafy green vegetables. However with time, I have learned to enjoy these.

Yes, bittergourds! I used to hate that when I was a child but now, my favorite way of cooking it is by sauteeing it with onion and egg and some meat.

There has been periods in my life where I ate nothing but vegetarian food. Now I eat meat as well as vegetables. There are some vegetables that I like very much, but there are also quite a lot of vegetables that I don't like. There are many delicious vegetarian dishes, and there are vegetarian dishes that I really like, but I must admit that there are certain vegetarian dishes which I find very hard to eat for instanse dishes containing zucchini and aubergines.

I do love eating vegetables, though I'm not a hard-core vegetarian. :-P Hubby prefers veggies and sea foods over meats, and I've been practicing this habit since we've been together, about 4 years now. :-D

I don't know anyone who's a vegetarian too. But i do eat vegetables, i just had one for lunch. It was mixed with fish though, so there's protein. I think everyone should have a balanced meal and not just veggies.. but more f them is good.
