At the beach, would you rather play in the sand or play in the water?

Personally I love both water and sand! Playing in the sand brings back childhood memories of building sand castles and yes, covering up my brother with sand LOL those were some good times! But I would probably play more in the water with the waves, definitely a lot of fun! Water or sand for you?

I'm with you cndn420, I love both the water and the sand. I still like to make sand castles and I love to pick up shells along the waters edge. I live on the Gulf of Mexico and the water is pretty warm all year round so I can go swimming even now in February! We don't have big waves here and I really like that, no undertow to worry about. I think the beach is very revitalizing.

I like the water but I do spend more time in the sand. I like them both too. My cousin got stung by a jellyfish once on a family vacation and ever since I've been a little leary of the water..lol..working on that.

Oh no! i can see how the jellyfish would make you want to stay on the beach more, i've always been weary of the jellyfish

Definately the sand! I love the feel of it between my toes! Must be dry sand though! I'm not much of a water baby... Plus when at the beach the sea water causes you to burn quicker! I burn easy enough as it is!

Definately in the water. I have never been a sunbather, but I absalutely love playing in the ocean, jumping in to the waves and having them push me towards the shore. I really love doing that. I could do that for hours, unfortnately I don't live by any oceans so I only get to do that once every 1 or 2 years, depending on where we go on vacation. I just love the ocean though. Of course now that I have kids, I am constantly worried about them so I can't enjoy the ocean as much as I used to because I am constantly looking to make sure each of my kids is fine.

I rather be in the water floating around. I also love to lay in the warm sand and catch a tan or just sit on the rocks and meditate. I love the beach!

Dear friend, I would play in water mostly. But at times very rarely I had played in mud and sand after that I would take a bath in the water. But mostly I like to play with the water.

I love playing in the water. Playing on sand or water gives me sunburn anyways so i'd rather play on the water which i think, for me personally, is more fun. I love swimming eventhough i can't swim deep enough like something that's over my height. Playing in the sand is kind of messy but it's fun too! I do want to be buried in the sand but nobody is up for it lol.

When I was little I lobed to play in the sane, build sand castles and make sand cakes. Now I prefer playing in the water. When I go to the beach with my friends we usually go crazy in the water, splash each other and jump on the waves.

I am a fish - I want to be in the water jumping in the waves and splashing around. Its the funnest time and I like doing flips and stuff underwater. It seems like its been forever since I have been to the beach. I guess its been 4 or 5 years. I hate being in a state where there are no beaches and all of our lakes are dirty. Luckily my vacation next summer should take me to a nice sandy beach with clear blue water. I can't wait!

In the past,I think I would choose to play in the sand.when I was a child,I fell into the pond.So I'm afraid of water for a long time.If I play in the sand,I would draw and pick up many beautiful shells. But now I prefer to play in the water.Because the feeling surrounded by the waves is so cool.I can relax myslef absolutely. And I think it's a good way to contact with nature.Maybe I also can swim with the lovely fish.^^

I would rather play in the water. Sand is not really my thing especially when you have to clean off every trace of sand after playing and it does get quite a bit itchy, so water it is for me.

well the sand is dry, the water is wet. the sand hurts and is pokey. the water disolves tender things because it is salty. if you mix the two together they aren't extra irritable, but they are a natural thing. being on sand or water can make one sensitive to the sun more. and especially if you are salty the sun can dry you up. putting on too much suntan lotion can be confusing if you have dry hands. because suntan lotion isn't that good of a moisterizer. also, i try not to look at any skinny people so i have to control that. it can be difficult.
