Eating Healthily AND Exercise Actually Works!

You have to love your body by fueling it well - Having a colourful meal reminds you that to feel beautiful you have to eat beautiful food - a hamburger or chips or deep fried food is not beautiful when you look at it with a healthy mind.

Heres to hoping that everyone who is eating in an unhealthy manner can read this and understand what I am saying and make changes for themselves to a body fuel that will help their body work in a more efficient manner.

I have battled my weight for ever - well since I was about seven - so that is over 20 years. I have tried every diet that you can think of, healthy and unhealthy. I have gorged myself, I have starved myself and then I thought that it just wasn't possible to loose the weight if you got over a certain size.... but.... I thought I would try something different. I thought I would make the things necessary for loosing weight easier for me. To start the ball rolling, so to speak, I changed the way I thought about these things. I called it 'sexy exercise' and 'colourful food' - making it sound funny made it seem easier to do!So off I went walking, in a sexy way of course, I would think about how my body moved instead of thinking how far I went and how hard it was. I came home and made some colourful food - which means that I had to have something from every food group. I believe it is all about focus. It is about how you look at what you have to do and learn to enjoy it, for yourself. This is also important. One cannot make long term life changes for anyone else because soon they will revert back to the way they want to do things - it might take 5 days, five months or five years but soon enough they will go back to what they feel is right for them. So you need to find out what your dream is and and slowly but surely change what you do to get you further and further towards this goal. It doesn't matter how long you take. It doesn't matter actually what you do - but it must be right and healthy for you. I was wondering if anyone else is on this journey and if so, maybe we could use this thread to talk about positive, healthy weightloss. I have lost 30kgs so far in 2 and a half months and I am proud of what I feel like, how much fitter and healthier I feel and how great I look too!
