How do I refer people to PayPal?

I've read in an article that I could earn extra money by referring people to Paypal. However, when I tried clicking the button which indicated that the sample of an email with my personalized referral link will be shown; it only directed me to my yahoo mail where I have to sign in.
At first, I thought that Paypal sent me an email message where I could find my personalized referral link. After discovering that I haven't received any message from the site, I tried this procedure several times but to no avail.
So, I assumed that the referral link (I bet not personalized) above the 'click here' button is the link I was looking for, or did I get it all wrong?

In fact I received the similar email from Paypal some time ago. But I am not going to refer people to Paypal. As not many people around me are interested in earning money via the net. That means to say having a Paypal account means nothing to them. Although it's a popular online payment method, but in my country, we can pay by other methods, too. So Paypal is not very necessary if we just buy products within our country.

That's reasonable enough! Like there in your country, Paypal isn't so popular here likewise. I even fear that once Paypal gets noticed by our government, they might think of a way to extract some tax out of us. This will discourage current local Paypal users if this happens. And I sincerely hope this won't occur in the near future.

can you tell me how much does paypal pay you for referring other people it will be very helpfull for me if you tell me.thanks a lot in advance.and yes the referral link is at the bottom of the page in paypal.

Yes, I do agree with justcraap. I got interested in referring other people in Paypal because of the possibility of earning from this. In fact, I e-mailed some of my friends and of course, I included the referral link in my message.
