I think the best thing for you is to go to unionbank and apply for an eon card... that is like the only debit card in the Philippines accepted by paypal... and when you do get your eon card... be sure to deposit at least 150 php... so that you will have no problem in having it verified in paypal...

There is no maintaining balance... but when you verify the eon card... paypal will deduct like less than 100 php... but it will be returned after a few days... so that 150 is really needed...

Hmmm...I don't know about BPI. Just try and ask them to be sure if you could use their cards for paypal.

more easier if you will apply for an EON card of unionbank and it is a debit card. And if you want you can link your debit card to paypal for you to be verified. To apply for an EON card all you need to do is visit any unionbank branch and bring with you the photocopy of your two valid IDs and an annual fee of P350.00.

Hey there! laiza14! Well, you don't have to sign up for a credit card. I suggest you sign up for and Eon account at UnionBank. It's very easy and convenient. You only need two valid IDs and two-hundred fifty pesos. That's it. Wait for a week for your Eon card and your good to go. You don't have to deposit any penny at your account if you don't want to. It's okay because Eon doesn't have any maintaining balance required. It's easy to link it to your pay pal. Just log in to your pay pal account and see the step by step procedure to link your Eon account. Make sure that all the information are the same, like your name and address. I hope that helps. Good luck! Happy posting!!

To verify your account, you need either a debit or a credit card. But aside from verifying your Paypal account, you also have to link a bank account for you to withdraw your money. Here in the Philippines, the best option is the Eon Cyber account of Union Bank. Eon account is a debit card and a bank account so you can use it both to verify your account and withdraw your money from Paypal. Visit Union Bank website to know more about Eon Cyber account.

What are debit cards like in your country? In the USA they are affiliated with the credit card companies, and therefore one is able to use one when signing up for MyLot. ON the other hand in Canada, my country, debit cards are NOT affiliated with the credit card companies, so we need an actual credit card.
