it was more like they gave up very early. we were all out for 149 and bowling looked very normal. eventhough we looked good in field but in both other fields we really let go the pressure. NZ will feel very confident in to the test series now as theier players defeated india very hard in the last match. dhoni was looking for just some bowling practice after the poor batting performance. it was impossible to defend a small total as this.

It is exactly the same point I want to raise. In Sri lanka also they did the same.Last match they lost. It seems they intended to lose all last games after winning the series. Are they doing it knowingly? why they played so inconsistently? Australia uses to try to win all games.

i didnt mind india getting all out for 149 as everyone is in form and it bound to happen in one game when everyone goes down.but i was mad at the way we bowled.150 is too little to defend but they had to show atleast the intent of defending it.but i havent seen anything of that kind.as u said, they gave up even before the game started

Consistency is what it is all about. And as good as the batting line up may seem, they need to perform well every time. They cannot take things easy and treat matches at international level as practise sessions. I hope they pull thier socks up for the test series.
