amazingfreelaptop.com is the biggest scam

Okay, I don't know if anyone has already brought this up, but I'm doing it now.
Amazingfreelaptop.com is the biggest jerk web site ever. I know that nothing is for free, but really, when you add up all the trial offers that you have to sign up for in order to get the laptops, plus all the spam (e-mail and phone calls) you'll get when signing up at this site, it's really not worth it.
Ever since I signed up with Amazingfreelaptop.com, I've gotten at least 200 or more spam e-mails everyday. I'm doing my best to block them, and it's gotten a little better. But of course I haven't gotten my laptop.
Now, I know that it doesn't take a genius to figure out that web sites like Amazingfreelaptop.com are scams. I know this. But I wanted to give it a try just to see what would happen.
At least it didn't cost me any money to try. But I still don't have a new laptop, so I guess I'll have to get it the old-fashioned way; save my money and try to get a good deal through my school.

Yeah that is why I don't mess with things like that. I don't even try those places that let you build your credit by getting a laptop through them then you pay like a small amount of money each week until it is pay off. I just went to check out Microcenter and they had a refurbished compaq presario for under 500 dollars and it works just fine. So check out refurbished stuff.

Thank you so much for that tip BinaryKat. I was considering a refurb, but I really didn't know where to look. For example, the Best Buy outlet and refurbed offerings seem to cost just as much as the their new computers. So I will check out Microcenter, because after all, if a web site is offering refurbed products, then they need to do it at refurbed prices. :)

I think this site is probably a scam, because why would anyone give a way a laptop that is any good. I dont think that site is something that anyone would be interested
I think there are many scam sites on the internet and that there are some that are more of a scam than others. I just like all of the variety that the internet has to offer.
