Does height stop growing, from going to gym

I heard alot of people say that one should never got to gym until a certain age, because height ceases to grow if you join Gym. Is this true? Any tips as well on gaining height?

i think so but if ou want to go to gym you must have got to gym until a certain age

i think u must wait because if you body is wonderful but your height doesn't grow what you do is useless
