I'm watching friends to practice my English listening and speaking. It's a comedy series, I'm sure you'll like it. The best way to improve English in my mind is to put yourself in an English environment. To make more communication with English speakers, don't be afraid of making mistakes. Hope this will help~

Watching movies is a great way to improve language skills. Like the previous person mentioned, The Notebook and Titanic are great romantic comedies. To find a ton of movies listed by Genre, go to www.imdb.com and then Browse(it's on the top right). Then they have lists of thousands of movies seperated by genre. Enjoy!

This guy once told me that how he learned how to speak english was he watched TV. He said he watched all the shows and began to reconize the sounds. He watched the facial expressions that the actors made, the feelings they portrayed, but eventually he caught on.

You've Got Mail is really good. I like movies such as Sense and Sensibility, and Pride and Prejudice. You could also try having the subtitles on when you are watching to help you with pronunciation as well. Namaste-Anora

The notebook, titanic, those movies are good and romantic. Comedy movies don't always have the best grammar.
