Dismal performance by India....

One thing is very much clear that Sehwag can not become a successful captain...Captaincy demands more than being flamboyant...his attitude of 'don't care' some times hurt as in this innings....then there are some batsman who played ridiculously...overall a disappointing performance of Indian...I have not seen anything from pitch...though I saw match till only when Tendulkar was there as his ouster ended all the chances of Indians. Hope following on our team will avoid the innings loss and then perhaps may save the game....the chances are bleak, to say the least...........

There is a glimpser of hope on Rahul dravid in second innings. Till now India has passed lunch time without loosing any wicket and Rahul with Gautam looks solid on the pitch. Let's hope that both of them go on a make big hundreds like they did in the last test againt England. Rahul is on 46* now!

though Gautam is no more on the pitch but as expected by you Rahul is there and it seems he is made for this type of situation....now I don't think any chance of India's getting down....Sachin is playing great and the wall has already got cemented so hope ...there will not be any harm....

I think Gautam didn't depar but it was rahul who got himself unlucky and given out on a ball which he didn't touch his bat. Anyway, the current situation is this that now Luxman is on crease with Yuvraj singh and still there is 3 hours left. Let's see if India can draw this match. Though they batted really well in second innings.

One poor performance and everyone becomes a critic and searches for a scapegoat. Surprisingly Sehwag seems to be a favourite scapegoat for most people. It did seem like he was being too agressive, when he should have played patiently. Regarding captaincy, one game alone should not be the deciding factor. You are right that it was a overall poor performance by the team. Whenever the game seems to be lost I think about Laxman and Dravid's performance against Australia in India. So I am negative about the result.

yes...you are right we seem to start searching for a scapegoat every time when the performance is not as per our expectation....here what I wanted to say that out captains should not played in too haste at least in the second innings...I think here Dhoni makes a difference....I am not a fan of Dhoni at least when it comes to his captaincy but it is his batting ability down the order which makes all the difference.....I am not against Sehvag as a whole but in this test match he definitely deserve criticism because of his irrational performance....any way thanks for your response....
