It's not so easy for me to get off especially being that I just got my computer fixed............YESTERDAY! I have to finish dinner but it's only a pot of rice of I have to cook. Tell me guys, should I let him on for a little while? He is kinda cute Alright, i'll be back!

Lol! Oh well this seems so much like the same thing I have with my son on every issue which is of any importance to either of us. If he’s watching any particular show and I want the TV…its always an exasperated mom who doesn’t understand what her son watches so intently! Naturally when its his turn…he’s like Mom what do you watch the TV so much for? (incredible…) Just let him have his games….c’mon be the good mother and go to the kitchen

Ah that's good and I'sm sure you fight with him for that bar of chocolate just like I do...its fun you know to go down to their level sometimes and be the child again Regarding my user name, well my name is Sudipta (which in Bengali means burning brightly) and so its Sudipta calling you and anybody and everybody who cares to connect with me You can call me Sudipta

Being a wicked, playful person, I'd tell him he gets his turn at right after whatever time he's in bed & he gets to keep it until just before whatever time he gets up!!!

You're right..... he should be but I must say that he was very patient with me. Once I get on it's hard for me to get off and he knows this.

Don't you just hate when that happens. I live alone but I have two grandsons that visit me a lots. They like to spend the weekends with me. And they will hogg my computer when they are here. And they are the same way your son is. Except they circle around me until I get off the computer. My daughter say they do her the same way. I can't do anything when some one is watching over my shoulder. So I end up letting them have the computer.

Lol, why don't you teach him how to use mylot, if he can post one good post, you'll let him use the computer. Brave child, he'll grow to be a really strong person.

hehe I have 3 children sharing the pc with me. My schedule is in the morning, the three of them in the afternoon till midnight, however on weekends they're at home the whole day so I'm off the pc. When they go out sometimes I took advantage of the time but when they come back, they would be nagging for me to stand up. I would encourage them to eat first and offerred them food I prepared. It's fun however, when our children nag us to stand up and let them on.

Hey, if your son has a problem with you on the computer, tell him to buy he's own computer! Then he won't be bugging you anymore and both of you will be happy!

I have 3 teenagers 2 boys 15 and 16 and a girl 17 and they ask me this all time especially know that we moved from NY to GA they did not meet that many people yet so they are always home.I love my lot and when i am on it i want to stay on it for awhile.this is the only site that i like to go on nd i am not on it that long.I usually let them after about 10 minuets or so. I guess that you should give your son a turn.

LOL I know where both of you are coming from, I've been in both spots. Hubby and I have had to share a pc at times and although we can do it, it isn't fun. I hope you two work it out :) ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

Seeing as he has been patient then I say ok sure let him on! BUT technically you paid for the computer, you pay for the internet, and with the few problems you have been having with him that I read about in your other posts if you do let him on I hope he's grateful and not rude! If he says something along the lines of "About time" then you'll have a better idea for next time!

lol poor child :P If he has been good today, then you should give him the small reward. If not, tell him to do some simple chores then you will let him ^o^

It sounds like you need to get another computer. LOL We had only one computer and it was the same scenario here. One day, a couple of months ago, my husband came home with a laptop for me. Awesome. Then a week later, one of his friends sold his laptop, and now we have matching laptops, and a desktop computer right in the living room. Now, except for times I need to use the desktop, there's no problems with computer time. A great grounding tool to.

That is awesome. We usually have to wait in line to get on the computer in my home too.
