It's Saturday Night. What Movies Are You Watching?

Walker and I were going through the TV guide, nothing else on, when we found The Graduate. I'd never seen the movie before, so we decided to go for it. He saw it about 10 years ago, but I've never seen it. About 40 minutes in, and it's a pretty good movie. So, what movies are y'all watching, this Saturday night?

I'm not really watching any movies tonight. I am getting ready to watch the show call cheaters though. It is about women and men cheating on their bf and gf or husband and wives.

Nothing that involves a sitdown with the remote. I'll probably flip channels till something catches my eye.

Hi danishcanadian. We wanted to have some laughs last night(it's Sunday morning now in my area), so we watched Hancock again. After that movie, we watched an two episodes of Damages Season 1. I still haven't watched The Graduate til now...been looking for its dvd but no luck so far. I know it's a pretty good movie. I got very interested with it more after seeing Rumor Has It. Enjoy the movie. Have a wonderful evening.

I just got done watching "Bedtime Stories" with Adam Sandler. I thought it was really cute. It was one of my Netflix movie selections. Now I am off to bed! Good Night!

Is that the movie where there are a lot of characters? I seem to have scene a bit of the trailer but I'm not so sure about what I saw. Is this the one from Walt Disney?

Yes, it is a Walt Disney movie. It is also with all kinds of different characters. It is where he tells the kids bedtime stories and they play out the stories, so you see the stories play out with them playing different characters. The main character, Adam Sandler, ends up finding out the next day that what is told in the bedtime stories actually comes true in his life. I actually thought it was a really cute movie. I think it is enjoyable for kids as well as adults. It is not crude like some of Adam Sandler movies can be. It is Disney, so it sticks to their standards. If you like nice Disney comedies I would recommend this one!

Wow I couldn't tell you exactly what movie I watched then. Last night it was 'Burn Before Reading'. A LOT of A list actors in a horrible movie. George Clooney and Brad Pitt led the way along with at least half a dozon other actors that you would know either by name or from other films and it was really bad. After getting our big-screen a couple years ago, we rarely go to the movies anymore (once a week is maybe average) and opt to stay at home and watch movies we get from Blockbuster in the mail and from the library. Very cheap and a very good experience. The last movie that really suprised me as a really really good movie that I actually did see in the theatre was 'Slumdog Millionaire'. Insanely good movie. Great post. Thanks Zelo

Saturday night, we watched A few Good Men. It is one of my favorite movies, and we found it on cable. The girls were watching Another Cinderella Story on ABC Family. I haven't seen the graduate in several years. It was such a good movie and definately a "grab the kleenex" movie!

Yesterday was Saturday and we didn't exactly watch a movie but a television program instead. But it was almost like a movie because the story was really good and was full of meaningful content. There's always a new episode on Saturdays in MMK (Maalaala Mo Kaya) which features stories from real people being sent to the program. And I think it's really great to see programs that are realistic and that can actually keep me on the edge of my seat. Most of the stories featured are drama which may be very depressing if one has to watch to program often but I think it's okay to watch things that are not off with the world that we revolve in. :)

Hi danishcanadian... I know I'm a little late but we watched most of the movie "I'm not there". I think it was supposed to be a biopic about Bob Dylan but it was a bit on the strange side and difficult to follow. It wasn't a movie we'd recommend.

I have watched some very very good movies in the past on some good ol' Saturday nights! My favorite movie of all time is 2001 A Space Odyssey. Fantastic!
