It was in the 80's today, this in northern NY, it's April, this is crazy.

I hurried up and picked dandelion greens and anything else that I thought would get bitter because it was too hot. Our chives and winter onions as well as some garlic is really high. A couple days ago it was 40s at night and 60s during the day, before that was 30s and 50s. That's more like the way it should be for this time of year. A blast of late June and early July weather right now can really mess up any greens anyone had out and not sure how it will affect the strawberries. Maple syrup season just ended a week or two ago. This is nuts. Anyone else having crazy weather?

Sure have in Philly it was 92 during the day and 82 at midnight right now it is 95. it was just 50 like three days ago and it snowed last week! I think we have a major heat wave coming soon because this is ridiculous if its this hot now can you imagine what the summer is going to be like? The Earth's atmosphere must be worst than wat they are telling us for the weather to be so effed up.

You and I are thinking alike on this. Similar weather there and here. Saranac Lake, known often as the coldest area in our region and sometimes in the east, occasionally in the entire US, was in the 90s the other day. They had snow about the time you did and then 50s and 60s like we did. It's insane.

We are experiencing the same kind of yo-yo weather. It was close to 90 the day before yesterday and yesterday it was just beautiful out. Today should be a little cooler. It's sunny out now with a little breeze. The trees have leaves and the lawns are beautiful.

80s isn't beautiful for me, esp. after just having 50s and 60s. I was out for 4 hrs in that, even with a hat and sun screen, my face is burned. Working out doors is great to me in the 60 degree weather, but not 80s. Glad you like 90s. I just find a cool place or run air conditioning. I hope it doesn't hit 90s here. 80s and 90s, we get in July, not April. This is horrible for us.

I burn right through the strongest sunscreen. My skin is so fair so I am not outside very often in the summer sun. This morning it's in the 50's so it seems chilly after the last few days. Our a/c has been on for the last week.

To me,beautiful weather = no heater or a/c on. Now if you mean pretty, sunny, I guess it is when in 60s. I'm very fair, too. Born with red hair, my hair got over it, but my face never did.

I swear I don't know if I should get up and get dressed in my winter clothes or my summer clothes. Don't it seem funny the weather any more. We still had freeze and frost warning this week. We skidded through April like a breeze with the hardly any bad weather, well really none, and April known for severe weather. I am thankful to god for that. And I truely feel sorry for the ones that lost love ones and their homes in the tornados that ripped through the area this month. It was in the 80's today and beautiful, but hot. Finally turned the A/C on tonight for a while just to cool it off, but from what I see in the weather for the next week, it will cool off again later on this week coming. If you dress for winter in the morning, later in the day you have to start pealing them off.

We had to go from winter clothes to summer clothes, it's too weird. Yes, I guess we should be thankful we still have homes. I just don't have summer clothes ready.

Subtropical weather is almost always always in the 80s, Edge, so Miami is its usual hot self today. Thankfully, it's windy. It's odd that the weather forecasters are calling this a cool spell, since we're not in the 90s, as we were last week. Just about everything I've ever planted burns, since we're on severe water restrictions.

We only have 80s and 90s in July when we have a normal year. This year is not normal. Also we used to build up to these temps. We had flooding and then three years of drought back in the end of the 1990s and beginning of the 2000s. Since then either mildly dry or mildly wet. Where I live is swamp. So if we ever go on water restriction, the rest of up here will be desert!

We have had some summery weather this past week. Today was more normal for this time of year. About three weeks ago we had a blizzard. I am not quite ready to put out tomato plants, but getting close. We are supposed to have hail tonight.

Hail, goodness, up here, we hate that word. That and sleet late into apple blossom season can ruin our apple crop up here. I hope the hail becomes virgo or something and misses stuff that's already growing. Let me know how your weather and crops do. This is starting out as a very, very weird year.

Yes our weather is just as wacky and I'm in the NYC area...it got to 88 here and tomorrow it's supposed to be the same. In fact our weather has been a yo-yo...one day in the 50s-60s then leaps up by 20 or so degrees, then back down again. We're supposed to have this "heat wave" until about Tuesday--just NOT ready for it

I worked outdoors today and it was a scorcher, esp. since I had to walk door to door with the sun reflecting off tarmack. IT was horrible!
