The -silog meals... Do you like eating them?

The best -silog meal for me would be Tapsilog! I have tried other -silog meals too but I really find Tapsilog my favorite, specially that from Rodic's. Yeah those meals are affordable and very delicious. A good way to start the day for breakfast! I also enjoy bangsilog because I love eating fish :)

I only eat Tocilog. For my Tocilog fix, I get it either at Cafe Via Mare or at Mocha Blends. Serving size is really generous and their pork's tender and cooked just right.

Tapsilog is still my favorite. I don't really like chicksilog or porksilog... I think it's because I mostly eat chicken and pork not in breakfasts but mostly during lunch or dinner and we don't serve egg at those times. Longsilog is my second favorite and it's the breakfast meal I order in Jollibee :D They longanisa looks like a sausage but it tastes good :D Thanks for the response on my discussion!

Name it, I've tasted it. Of course, how could I missed those. I owned a carinderia before specializing on such type of meals. My favorite is still tapsilog specially if the tapa is tender and a little bit spicy. But I can also go for Tocilog, Dasilog and the others -silogs you mentioned.

I love silog food. I especially like the egg so anything with egg is just yummy.

Yes who haven't? If you are a middle class Filipino you should have eaten these kinds of meals already, if you haven't you are missing half of your Filipino life.

i love silog meals. :) specially tapsilog and porksilog. my sister has no idea on that meal and she hasn't eaten something like this before. i asked her once about the meaning of tapsilog. to my surprise, she doesn't even know it! :) honestly, and she's not joking, when she answered me with "alitaptap, sinangag at itlog"! gosh, i really laughed out loud there.

I love the silog meals!! especially tapsi and longsi!! It's a good deal for a great tasting food :) Makes me wanna go eat tapsi for breakfast today *drools*

Tapsilog is my favorite among other silog meal... I really missed tapsilog,,, hmmm... yummmy....

I miss Silog meals a lot since im far away from philippines as of now. But I grew up with different silog meals, not only breakfast anyone can eat these even lunch dinner or even midnight snacks after night outs. I dont know why most Filipinos love to eat food oozing with oil. He, he, he,, i consider myself guilty with that. We can only find the best silog meals only in Philippines. There is actually one silog meals which i wanted to go back and eat and it was during my college years.. I will be back soon to Philippines so Im excited to eat again the silog meals that i grew up with..Good thing you reminded me. Have a nice day!

Tapsilog is the best! I always order it. And I like eating it with vinegar.

I pond to eat silog meals every time we go to the mall most of wants that food especially my mother she is fond of eating egg what ever cook thus it in the she would like to eat,it is so affordable and complete meal also, for me the best silog is tapsilog, it taste so good the meat is so soft and tasty, and it's perfect in the rainy season.

i like silog foods too. i usually eat it anytime of the day. but usually at lunch time, cause i seldom eat breakfast. my favorite is porksilog. i like the egg sunny side up with a pinch of salt on it. haha. replying to this discussion makes me hungry lol

i love silog coz i love breakfast, keeps me up all day ...and a typical pinoy breakfast is silog such as hotsilog, love it, so easy to cook and prepare...and cheap I may say...

I like -silog meals too. I like tosilog, tapsilog and porksilog. I buy -silig meals everytime Im hungry when I was renting in a dorm. I like the fried rice and rare cooked egg.

Im fond of eating longsilog and tapsilog. I dont get tired in eating any silog meal. When I dont know what to eat, I always settle for silog meals. The combination is great paired with very cold softdrinks.

Hi taki I like the "silog" meals but I don't get to eat them regularly. Of all the silog meals, I like "tocilog" the most. Even when I was pregnant(well, you know, fatty foods should be avoided), I didn't avoid this one. When I was only a month away from giving birth, my husband took me out on a date. We went to Pancake House and the food they sell isn't cheap. So, the usual affordable "silog" meals at the common carinderia, was a little pricy. But when I saw that they offer "tocilog", I didn't even blink, and ordered it. I have tried bangusilog, chicksilog, tapsilog. The common "silog" meals. And if in the future, there will be other kinds of "silog" meals that will be invented, I will surely try them, too.

My favorite silog meals are tosilog,hotsilog, and longsilog.I've been trying to eat less meat, but I can't help eating tocino,longganisa,and hotdog.the meals are enough to fill me for quarter of the day.I can even go with silog only,I love eggs a lot.

yes, i love them. my favorite is the baconsilog, next favorite is the tapsilog. and yes, i eat my bcon dipped in spicy vinegar. couple this with strong, hot, coffee, and its a perfect day for me.

I love eating -silog meals for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Wow it is cheap at 40pesos. Where is this place that you treated them? I haven't tried all the different kinds of -silog meals. I just always order Tapsilog, Longsilog, and Tosilog.
