do you expect for someting when you give?

Hi, others says we should expect someting when ywe give. But there were also says don't expect just give. Actually, it is based on you motives. For me, when i give to someone i used to leave everything to God but i am believing that in every good deeds you did, there is a return. Simply believing the Lord and giving Him all. Losing everything is gaining before God. You help others because you love them and have compassion on them. Jesus also give everything even His life to us without expecting any return from us but simply giving our lives fully to Him. Thank God for the Salvation. God bless you all!!

nope..i don't expect anything in return but...now-a-days people are expecting more and more in return for what they give..its a bad practice and i don't encourage it..

Others based on the bible " it is better to give than to receive..for me because of compassion and have mercy on people, i'll giving them what is my pocket. It;s rather good to help others without knowing who you are. We should not be proud of course sometimes that we helped others. We must always thank God for all blessings that's why we are sharing this with others...

Hi phoebe_09, Yeah you are right. If we give we don't give to that particular person, actually we do give it to God then to that person. In giving one has to open both of his or her hands means to say we are not keeping it and we don't need or expect others to return to us the favor. There are givers who need to be recognized when they give something, but for me and I hope others too, I want God to recognize me for I am doing it (giving) for the glory of God. Happy mylotting.
