What is the purpose of Eye Glasses?

I think it depends on the illness that a person has. Some uses for astigmatism, for computer and sun protection and of course those who are far and near sighted person.

I think you can also use it for watching people without fear and hide if you are shy.You can use it for fashion or become stylish.Thank you.

A lot of people - like me - need reading glasses after a certain age. I wear contacts for long distance, but resort to glasses for close up work.

I'm wearing a glass, but not for style. I'm wearing it because my eyes are minus, but actually I hate wearing glasses because it make my nose itchy and feel uncomfortable. Even my eyes are minus, I still didn't wear it everyday, only when I'm driving or need to read small words far away. I don't know why so many people like it very much.
