What do you think guys? Rumors are being spread that the controversial DOJ Secretary will be removed from his post to be appointed as presidential chief legal counsel or become Mancao's lawyer in the Dacer-Corbito double murder case. Read the article here: http://www.gmanews.tv/story/164398/Gonzalez-to-be-Mancao-lawyer-if-yanked-from-DOJ Will this be good for the country?

It is best for Sec. Gonzales to retire because of his age and his health. He is not an asset to a good government anyway. All he does are attention-grabbing pronouncements. He even meddles in showbiz affairs. Piles of paperworks are always on his table (no action?)if you notice during interviews.

Oh well I guess I can say that its about time that there is someone who shold replace him in DOJ. He is for me becoming old and somtimes he is becoming biased on certain issues with the government. I guess a fresh new face is welcome I just hoped that it would not be politically assigned.

Hi eichs1! I don't really care if this is true because I know that the one who will replace him will definitely be appointed by Malacanang. I think the post of DOJ Secretary together with the Ombudsman should be either elected or selected by a non partisan group. This 2 post hold a very critical task in our government and should be independent to avoid bias and controversy. Regarding Gonzales, I think he have his own ambition of running for a public position in his hometown. Maybe the Mancao's case would make him popular and more famous. Have a nice day!

This is good in my opinion if and only if the one who will replace him is better, just, and God fearing. Sec. Gonzales was appointed by our president and I don't believe that he had made justice in his term. Everything he had done was against to Filipinos better future.
