what did you do with your old cellphones?

Hi ckyera. I'm not exactly sure what I did with some of my cell phones, though I did keep most of them, if not all. Some of them I kept just for the heck of it, as I didn't know what else to do with them. The others I would give to my husband whenever I'd upgrade my phone as we have plans through the same company. However, my husband's is through his work, so the only way he gets a new phone is whenever I give him my old one. As a matter of fact, I just upgraded recently and gave him my old phone. Though it wasn't much of an upgrade seeing as I got the same one as before! LOL Happy mylotting!

if the cellphone is still usable or functioning, i usually give it to my younger siblings... Those which aren't functioning anymore, we give it to those who might want to have it or we keep it hidden somewhere...

My cellular now is the fourth, sony ericsson. The first one is nokia 8210, the second is sumsung, the third is also nokia. I gave my first one to my mum. And I like it very mcuh. I changed it because I wanted a flip cellular. The second one - sumsung - its quality was poorer. Hence I got a new one after it was broken and threw it into my drawer. Now I'm crazy about slipe phone, so I gave the third one to my mum, too. And my mum is using it. What makes me sad is my mum sold my first one out and got only RMB5.00, I'll be mad. Though it's broken. But it's a smart and cute cellular for me. When I knew this, my mum has made it. And the other two, which I don't care about, one is still in my drawer and one is used by my mum. Hehe...

I think i still have some old cellphones with me right now.. haha =D Some of them are really old that it dated back right up to the 1990s.. lol =D Back then, it was one of the most expensive nokia phone with silver or gold casing.. lol =D BUt now, i have thrown it away because it was beyond repair and use ^_^ As for other old cellphones, it's either that i sold them off, or i keep 1 or 2 as my spare phone in case my actual cell is spolit or whatever ^_^ However, i do keep all those chargers.. haha =D

I don't really have a lot of old phones because I can use one for a very long time. but I had an old one, the screen broke when I accidentally sat on it. OOOPSS. So my then bf gave me one as a birthday present. A few months ago, my brother who is taking engineering in Uni, requested for it, as he wanted to do something with it for his final year project. So it is with him now.

I only had two cellphones till now. I gave my first cell phone to my Mom, when I got a new one. It was a very good phone and she still uses it. It is high time to get rid of my present phone and buy a new phone. I am looking forward to that. My friends sold their old cell phone when they got new ones. One of my friend's old phone got her 10 dollars after using it for around one and half years. It was a Nokia basic model phone.

I just give it to my dad and I don't know where he brings it. All I know is that he doesn't use my old cell phones, maybe he sells it. I never asked.

i have no old cell phones my friend. i have for in my home where one is used by my father and one for my sister and rest two are used by myself. thanks. miss u in my discussions.

i do many things even it depends. i have sold my phones many time. but my first phone which i bought so earlier is still in working condition. i think that is nearly 7 years older and i bought that in 2003 and was my first phone. i attached my sentiments with that and given this phone to my mom to use. she did not care for that alot but still i am happy that i have that phone with me.

thus far i have had about three old celphones that i keep. after buying a new one, i decided to sell celphone load and airtime. so i got three old units that i kept for the purpose. the other old phones that i had either i gave to family members or sold to other people at lower price which i used to add in buying the new one

Way back then, I do have an old phone which I get to repairs whenever it was malfunctioning but then if it is close to hopeless, I would sell it instead or give it to my sisters. But as time goes by, my sisters also find time to buy their own phones. Most of the time, I just sell it and if they refuse to buy it, just keep it as remembrance instead...

I give my cellphone to the poor that cant afford to buy a new one, specially girls that is potentially become a textmate.. :)

i have old non working cellphones... so basically its no use but i keep it because those phones were given to me so there is value in it.

I sell my old cellphones. The ones with no sentimental value. Before doing that, i make sure i have some few thousand of pesos. I am going to sell that phone then i am going to buy a newer phone. I guess that's the best way to upgrade your phone. That's why it's really important to keep the box and the accessories of your phone to make it salable even if it's already old. People would bite on anything that looks good as new.

Same with me. I keep it or save it for future usage specially for my relatives if they would be interested on it...

I have several cellphones at home that I don't use anymore. I keep it for emergencies in case my current cellphone got stolen or damaged. I also gave away two of my old cellphones to some relatives who need a cellphone. I never sell ,y old cellphones because they have no more value.

I gave them to my little cousins. Sometimes I trade them for a new phone.

I sold all of my old cellphone, even I don't really needs money I still sell them, that's because I don't like lots of junk in my house. So, when there are junk that can be sold, why not? Usually my old cellphone sold out by 50% of its new price, may be even higher cut, but I don't mind that much, as long as I can get rid of that junk.
