I'm Gonna Be On The Radio!!! I Am! I Am!

I'm so excited I can barely contain myself and just had to share it with you all!
I just got off the phone with a reporter from the CBC Regina Morning Edition Radio
Show.
Seems she was sent the article in the Tribune-Democrat about my relationship with our own dear you know who, whom we recently lost.
So tomorrow morning, my VOICE, is going to be on the radio, broadcast all over the world (!) in an on air telephone interview about how friendships grow, blossom and change our lives, all from one serendipidous connection online. Kinda like 'good news for a change' about the internet. LOL
The interview will also promote the chipin site for the college fund and hopefully more people will be touched and will check it out (read contribute) if my words are eloquent enough.
So go out and beg, borrow or steal a Sirrius Radio folks and tune to CBC Canada at 7:24am Central time to hear my golden tones!
Do you listen to the radio talk shows much?
If not.....START TOMORROW! LOL

Log into CBC.ca and find the link to the recorded interview, sometime after lunch tommorrow and hopefully you'll hear it then. lol

Woohoo, Sparx!! Congrats and wish I could catch wind of it myself. Not that I'll be awake that early in the morning, but still....... I'm so dog tired right now, but I'm not up that early on a good day. Well, I was while on vacay, but not while I'm home. Go figure. I hope it helps her kids out loads. And, maybe it'll put a kick in your career plans as well. Who knows???

Hey sparko... By the time i respond this, i hope you do already done that interview. So, how is it going there?.. I did the interview yesterday morning and there have been some donations since, which is great.

well, when i was a child until high school i was addicted to radio, dramas, music, talk shows, etc... i was even interviewed there once
by a church group, i had a children's ministry then...

I'm sorry about your hearing loss jayrene. So many people have that problem. I'm deaf myself in my right ear.........
Hopefully though if AnnieOakley1 here (see her response on this thread) keeps searching she'll find a link where you can go and if you can't listen to the interview, you'll probably be able to read it. Good luck.

If you have Windows on your coputer, you should be able to download the plug in no problem.
Can you believe it Pye. All this from one little article in a newspaper thanks to you and OreoCookies.

GOOD FOR U, SPARKS. I'm glad someone appreciates the good u are trying to do. U are a great friend & i know i appreciate what u have tried to do. I WISH I COULD HEAR YOU. i don't even know what a sirrius is. . I DO LISTEN TO THE RADIO ALOT BUT NOT TALK SHOWS. I just listen to country oldies but goodies. U talk pretty now.

OMG that is wonderful!! wow how wonderful and exciting for you honey. i think you are the perfect choice to be the friendly, loving voice of the online people! i don't listen to talk radio and i don't have Sirius radio. you should record it and then post it on mylot so we can listen to it. i would love to hear it

This is wonderful sparks. I'm so glad for both reasons, the chipin for the children and to promote the website. It is nice that someone picked up on this and is willing and able to help out. Air time cost a lot and you are getting it for free.
I have not listened to talk radio lately, just once and it was the swap shop thing where people call in if they have something to sell or trade. I don't know anyone with a sirius radio 
. I wish that I did so I could listen in.
Make sure to have the link in front of you so they get it right, lol. Although it is an easy one to remember, but being excited you might forget something. lol

I'm used to public speaking so I'm not nervous about people hearing my voice. What I'm worried about it my voice getting all emotional if I get teary talking about Bella. I'll be up all night psyching myself up for it though, so hopefully I'll be ok!
