Used to frequent eat all you can high tea when I was younger, and had good appetite. We always selected high tea, because we could eat treat it as eating for two meals. And we were quite experienced to prepare a good appetite to swallow all the food. We met at noon, walked everywhere, up and down the stairs for an hour plus, till we were so hungry. Then we took a bus into town. We walked in the air-conditioned shopping mall till it was time to eat. We asked the waiter to give us a lemon cut into 2 pieces. We squeezed the lemon juice into the iced water. Whenever we felt full, we washed down the food with the lemon juice, so that we could eat again. We enjoyed the meal very much, nearly continuous eating from 3 pm to 5 pm.

Yes, I had been such restaurants. There are instances where I pay the bills, and of course, there are instances where it's a treat from my company... Well, I do love it when it's a treat from my company (cos I need not pay but I can eat lots of nice food). Usually, when it's a treat from my company, it's usually from those hotel's all you can eat (or buffet) restaurants. For me, it will really depends for my first choice of food. Sometimes, I will go over to the salad side for starters. At other times, I started off with the soup. There are also times where I just go over to the main dishes and started eating. However, most of the times, I will end with desserts... I love the different desserts offered by the hotel's restaurants...Saying all these makes me hunger for them, especially the desserts...

By the way, the next buffet (all you can eat) I hope to go is a chocolate buffet... I love chocolates, and I hope that I can taste a lot of different chocolate stuff in one go... It's going to be really very sinful for that night...

Well, I guess it won't really be that bad after eating all the chocolate items. Not all chocolates are sweet (dark chocolate is one). Plus, I just have to make sure that I drink a lot of water, plus brush my teeth after that...

hi there! yes i have experienced it! eating in an eat all you can restaurant and we really enjoys it! especially it is a treat from a friend! there's a lot of such resto here on cebu offering that eat all you can thing. i remember that day that we almost spend 3-4 hrs there chatting and eating slowly...we do it slowly so that we didn't get full right away...and yes we have tasted all the foods their offering! but just a little portion of each...my husband and his friend almost empty the plate of baked oysters! well, its really delicious... i remember how the waiter looks at them while their getting the oysters every time the waiter puts it on the buffet table! and the waiter even told them "sir, there's still some dishes available...would you like to try it?" hahaha but all in all we really enjoy the experience and we even go back there once in a while or especially during some occasions! but the problem is that it ruins the diet! hehehe but it suits the budget! we really eat well there coz if not we feel that our money is just wasted so we really make sure and see to it that its "SULIT" ! have a nice day!

Pizza Hut offered that before. I think I ate a whole pizza. They were strict with the leftover crusts. A year after that, they offer eat-all-you-can again but this time there should be no leftovers.

Dads - Dad's-Kamayan-Saisaki is the ultimate buffet experience here in the Philippines. Not only is the food yummy but also rightly priced. :)
Yes, I love all you can eat buffets. I particularly like a certain buffet restaurant here in the Philippines called Dads-Kamayan-Saisaki. Some Pinoys would think that the buffet is expensive but I think the money you pay for is not wasted at all because the food there is delicious plus you can eat different cuisines from America, Japan and of course the Philippines.:)

I don't like buffets and am squeamish about going to any, mainly for health and cleanliness reasons. Also, I would never be able to eat enough to make paying for a buffet meal worthwhile. There's one that's very popular where I live. Apparently it's one of the largest on the east coast or somesuch record. I knew two friends who went. I declined the invitation. When they returned, they were so sick because they had eaten way too much. They stuffed and stuffed themselves. They took turns going to the bathroom. They were so disgusting and piggish.

When i go out to eat with a friend i will select the food which i have eaten there before and i enjoyed its taste.I will also love to try out new combination's of food that my friend suggests.I and my friend have food only in local restaurants. We never have food sin five star hotels. We always have our food somewhat spicy and hot.As a drink we drink cool lime soda.

That is especially good for young people. For elders, we do not have much appetite, and overeating will make us feel bad for the following days. Some of the buffets are just so so, but Some 5 or 4 star hotels give really good food. There you will eat all kinds of expensive and rare food. The charge is usually more expensive, but the taste is rewarding.

I do like all you can eat buffets, but I don't eat at them a lot. My sister and I like to go to Chinese food buffets. They are our favorites. Sometimes my grandparents will decide to shell out for the entire family to eat at one. So, that everybody is happy. Tomorrow they are taking us all to the Olive Garden though, not all you can eat. But, it should be fun just the same.

Yes, I do love to go to a buffet. It's great to have a lot of choices and be able to eat what you want to without eating the stuff you don't like. We go to a few oriental all-you-can-eats and that's our favorite! You get some of everything instead of just choosing one item.

I have visited a few places like that and is great! because you have the chance to taste a lot of different dishes and that to me is great!since I Am a chef Im just there to see and taste and find out what people like [ very interesting]once I heard people talking that the food was not good, but they ate as much as they could, and another time a mum and her kids ate that much they went to the toillet, vomited and came out and ate some more!Obviously I like food and I love cooking and eating but I only eat what I need no more saddly there are people who do not know how to appreciate food and that is sad specially when there are so many that go whithout. If someone is paying for my dinner I would not chose the more expensive item, not the cheaper, but something in betwin as I think is unpolite to chose the more expensive item in the menu.

Yes. My husband has a big appetite and loves eating in restaurants that offer buffet lunch or dinner, and eating out is our way of dating. The idea that you can eat anything and everything on the buffet table without paying extra is just so appealing. I prefer to bring my friends to eat-all-you-can restaurants specially when I'm the one paying the bill - aside from the fact that I know my friends will enjoy because of unlimited food, I already have an idea how much I'll be paying even before going there( you just multiply the rate/head with the no. of people eating, plus add a little more for the drinks - if not already included). We go mostly to places offering american, italian or japanese food. Hotels usually have the best food choices for buffets. I go for the appetizer first, the salads, then the main dish (sometimes in no particular order). I love pasta so I make sure pasta is in the list, and that drinks are included (juices mostly). I eat slowly and in small amounts, this way I get to eat more coz I don't feel full immediately. The most important thing is I make sure I enjoy the whole experience.
