Good point made by you! I think it can changed like what you stated. Love is not blind since it is compared to god. Even though sometimes it seems lovers are blind , the proverb makes everyone to say " LOVE IS BLIND" . I like to follow on your quote. Nice Quotation!

i thought you are going to say that GOD is also blind...anyway love is blind because when your inlove you wont see anything wrong with the one you love thats why many says you are blinded with love...

I wouldnt say love / lovers are blind ...When you are in love you stop using your mind and follow your heart . Your heart sees what you want to see , but practicaly its your mind that shows the true picture , which can pain your heart . So we dont use our brain when we are love :)
