Hello friends, have you ever had something wonderful to come out of something which you perceived as bad. Today I had something wonderful to blossom forth from something bad. It was so beautiful that it brought tears to my eyes. Presently I can only look back and be thankful for the bad because without it I would have never been able to experience the good.So what wonderful thing have you had to come out of something that was perceived as bad?

I've had that happen to me in the past-figuring that out in hindsight makes the truama so much more easier to bear. I just say "Thank you Jesus!"-he'll never put anything on me that I can't handle |:)

I know just what you mean, I say the same thing. Thank you Jesus! But it's so funny how when we are in the midst of the storm we can never see the forest for the trees. The rain be pouring down upon us so hard at times and still we are simply there wheathering the storm until finally it begin to slack up and well I think you know the ending to this story my friend, all the forces of hell must back up. God bless you.

I have had some really great things happen from some not so great situations. I grabbed my car during a time that I had no money and my old car broke down right in front of a mechanic shop that was willing to trade my car that I couldn't afford to fix for the one that only need a few little things that I could afford. And I love my new car a lot more than my old one. Some of my best friends came out of the worst fights. I know there have been a ton more, because that is how my life seems to work. LOL I guess it's Karma!

Yeah I know just what you mean. Seems like if we aren't going through a storm, we're coming out of one. Thank God for bringing us through!

It is really funny how things work out, but they always seem to work out no matter how hard or nasty life seems to be. I have pulled my self and my life out of some pretty hairy situations that I look back on now and wonder how I even survived in the first place.

Some years ago I had a boyfriend from the other end of the country. We had had a long distance relationship for about year when we decided to move in together. I wanted to become a nurse, so I applied at a nursing school which was close to the town where my ex lived. I was happy when I got accepted, and my ex and I were planning our life together. But one day my ex suddenly broke up with me. I was very sad and angry, because my ex didn't tell me till the very last minute, and at that time I was too late to change my application, so I had to move to the other end of the country anyway. I didn't know the town very well and didn't have any friends there, but I had to move, so I found an apartment in the town. There were two apartments on the second floor and I became very close friends with the girl from the other apartment. She is one of the best friends that I have ever had and I know I would never have met her if I hadn't been forced to find an apartment in that town.

That is a great story my friend, I'm glad that you shared it with us. I guess that's pretty darn close to what I was thinking when I asked the question in the discussion of "have you ever had something good to come out of something that was bad" rather that was perceived as bad. I gotta admit that you handled yourself really well under the circumstances. I'm sure that most people would have been ready to pack it all in and to run back home. But not you my friend. You stuck it out, which led you to have a very good friend. This whole thing remind me of something that I'm going through now. I've been sticking it out for over ten years now, living in a place that I'm not particularly fond of. But doing the best I can to make it home. The good thing is that even though I'm not particularly fond of it, most of my family members like it here. So hopefully in the end something good will come out of it. Anyways, thanks for sharing your story, it was great and I'm glad you had a happy ending! Happy mylot!

Something good come out of something I perceived as bad.... I am sure it has happened, but I can't bring it to mind at the moment. It isn't the situation that is good or bad, it is your opinion of the situation.

Yes, during the last few days actually. I had told an old boyfriend that if his latest crush wants to know how I am doing, she should come to me and ask me, maybe even get to know me, instead of asking my friends how I am, and worrying about what I do with my friends. It made my ex mad, he ended our friendship and has been causing problems since. And it hurts, yeah, but in the end, I don't need that kind of bullcrap in my life, and need be stressed out worrying about my friend's interest in constantly surrounding himself with people that act like his girlfriend was. In fact, it prompted me to finally cut all of the troublesome people and fair-weather friends out of my life all together. Every last one of them. So I've taken that hurt and anger and flipped around into motivation. (=

Good for you Zoey, it sounds like you are growing in leaps and bounds. I know it can really be hard when we cut disfunctional people otu of our lives but if they are only dragging us down instead of up, I say go for it! Happy mylot!

Sure, I've heard of this same thing that happened to a friend of mine. It's good that you no longer have to be concerned with the stress of the entire ordeal. Then once things are right again you will get an even better car. Take care and enjoy the peaceful times while they are here............. Happy mylot!
