Help me to continue my life

Hey there,
I just want to get advices regarding my problem. I have one best friend since high school. we are so close. we've made a promise that we will go to the same college. i put all my hope in that promise that we made. then, after graduated from high school, he said he wanted to pursue his study in oversea. Then, he left me just like that. What im going to do now. I've lost all my hope. Now i just left to study in the local university alone ( yeah, i got friends here, but not a close friend ). I didn't do anything wrong to him. He never replied my email. what can i do now??

I know its hard to lose a friend or the pain of being ignored. Try to find out the reason for this sudden change in him. May be he is pre occupied with his studies or work. Try to get in touch with him and then u will know wat to do next... some common freinds may have info about his whearabouts.thx

thank you for your respond,
I've regularly sent emails to him, he never replied any of those. I know where he is, he is at Purdue University, USA. I dont have money to go there just to meet him.
I just can't find the reason why he keep avoiding me.
Anyway thanks for your help.

he's your friend right? just simply put in mind that he has dreams to pursue and he has left with no choice but to leave you because he has other priorities in life rather than fulfilling that promise. i don't think that after you both will enter college, without not having the same school, will decide to end up your friendship...

It's a pity that you are not in the same university now . But you should be happy for him because he achieved his dreams although he didn't keep his promise. I think he cared the promise very much so that he might be guilty not to contact you and he is afraid that you might get mad about him . There are many resons he loses contact with you but it's not your fault ,i'm sure. I hope that you can keep in touch with him as soon as possible.

Im not mad at him actually. I just want to know the reason why he keeps avoiding me.. he's currently active at facebook, but he never reply my post.. i don't know why.. yeah, you are right, i should be happy for him because he achieved his dream.
Once again, thank you very much for your concern, hopefully i'll be able to contact him soon.
