Fulfill your dreams of being a wizard/witch just like Harry Potter in this newly invented tv remote control. In just a matter of a flick, you can already change your channels with the help of the mighty kymera magic wand universal tv remote. The remote works like a standard remote control minus the buttons. It has a built-in accelerometer that is able to recognize “magical gestures” instead of just pushing buttons. For example, if you want to change the channel, you just flick the wand up or down, and to change the volume, you just need to make a clockwise or counter clockwise gestures with the wand. In totality, the wand/remote control can recognize up to 13 different gestures which you can customize. If only this is available in the Philippines, I would really love to have one. P.S. the photo is taken from coolest-gadgets.com

Woah! I want one!! That will be the number one item on my Christmas Wishlist this year.LOL As if I have a wishlist. Anyway, I really would love to have that. A Harry Potter inspired item that goes with one of my favorite hobbies: channel flipping! The user might also get an mild exercise from that. I mean trying out the move combination on the tv. You could also really go all out and imitate the moves on the first few Harry Potter movies when they were learning the spells. That could be a fun exercise wouldnt you think? Well, I know those things might not come cheap and like you have mentioned it isnt available in the country that we are residing in. Perhaps Im just gonna wait or if I have the budget, I might try ordering online, that is if they allow International shipping. Gonna check the site and the item out after posting this. Thanks so much for sharing!^_^

Yikes, I have seen the price. On the site it says "$83" Now I know I will never get that unless it is given to me as a most generous gift. Id rather spend that kind of amount of money on my expenses rather than a remote. But still, it would be a good item on a "wishlist".

That sounds like a very cool gadget... worthy of those who are fans of the Harry Potter's world... but i think i t can be quite difficult to manipulate... and there are quite a lot of "magical gestures" to remember... i might buy one when it becomes available here in the Philippines... but only for display... because i still prefer the conventional remote control...

I agree. It can be a little bit difficult to memorize all the hand gestures but I think the thing that really matters here is you need to know how to change the channel and volume since its the primary use of remotes hehe.

Sounds like un, but I suspect buttons will work better and be more flexible... anyway, it's still magic to me.

yes it is indeed magical. I can imagine the face of our visitors carefully inspecting the wand if ever we have that as a remote. It'd be so much fun! LOL

Wow that's a new one. I wonder what other features does it have? It would be best if it could pop up a pizza while you're watching tv too. LOL great gadget though.

that's like playing magic on the television. so what kind of batteries are needed for this one? double or triple A or rechargeable magic batteries. wow that would certainly be expensive.

A little bit of Wingardium Leviosa cast on the TV will totally amaze me But seriously, I don't know what the batteries are. I just know that its already included. I haven't found any article that says about the type of batteries, yet.
